Everything was wonderful at our meal! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great! It reminded us of the times we went to cafes in Paris! Can't wait to eat here again!

We had a wonderful dinner with friends. Good food and vine. It's what traditional NYC French Bistros were like, and are too few in-between these days. It's like stepping back in time but in a good way

A Mixed Brunch Experience with Promise for More: During a casual stroll through Park Slope with our dogs, my husband and I discovered Brasserie Le Mistral and decided to give their brunch a try. Our experience was a blend of highs and lows that has left us curious about their dinner service. The French onion soup, unfortunately, didn’t meet our expectations. It was on the watery side, lacking the rich, hearty flavor typically associated with this classic dish. The topping seemed more like croutons rather than the traditional bread, and the cheese lacked the fully broiled, melty characteristic that defines a good French onion soup. However, the burger was a different story altogether – it was impeccable. Cooked to perfection and brimming with flavor, it was the highlight of our meal and showcased the kitchen’s capabilities. Our server, a tall, white, young gentleman, added to the positive aspects of our visit with his charming and attentive service. Dining outside allowed us to enjoy some delightful people-watching, and having our dogs with us made the experience even more enjoyable.Despite the soup’s disappointment, the excellence of the burger and the overall ambiance have piqued our interest in returning for dinner. The promising reviews and the glimpses of potential we saw in our brunch visit make us optimistic about what Brasserie Le Mistral has to offer during the evening service. ????

Anniversary dinner with my husband and he had the Hanger steak whilst I dined on the Duck l'orange. Both were delicious. Also had half dozen clams from Nova Scotia and they were delicious.

Our experience was a mixed bag. The interior and lighting had the French brasserie vibe and the live music is a nice touch. But the main reason to come, the food and drinks, were a little disappointing for an expensive French restaurant. No cocktails or digestives since they don't have a full liquor license. The cheese plate was proper disappointing as was the whole presentation of the plates. Missed opportunity to be great.

I really wanted to believe in this place. The food is overall delicious! The chicken is my go-to and the bread is so fresh. The service is generally very attentive and fast. The only thing I will say detracts a star is that on days when they are packed the waiters are positively overwhelmed. They try their best but they end up misunderstanding us. The other thing I’ve found a few times is that food tends to be just a little undercooked. It happened once with our salmon and most recently with the chicken. I’m not sure if that was all intentional but we didn’t feel safe eating it.

Great service. Great food. Kyle, our waiter, took very good care of us.

We had a delicious meal here but the service was almost laughably awful. We came for brunch on a very rainy Saturday afternoon. There were only two or three occupied tables, in addition to our own, in this large and pretty restaurant. I had Eggs Florentine, which were delicious. The hollandaise was silky and buttery and the little side salad and potatoes were fresh and well prepared. My friend had the quiche, which was also tasty and nicely presented. The problem was, once our plates were plunked down, the front of the house staff might as well have just gone home, they were so absent and apathetic. Our server just stood behind the bar looking at his phone the whole time we were there. The bus people just sort of roamed around or disappeared. Our water was never refilled unless we asked for it to be, we weren't offered coffee refills, a dessert menu, a cocktail, nothing. A small spill on our table went uncleaned up until we soaked it up ourselves with a tissue. You know restaurants that you feel like the staff is breathing down your neck, overly attentive, or rushing you out? Well, this is the total opposite of that lol. Although I liked the food a lot, I'm not sure I'd return because the total neglect really diminishes the quality of the dining experience.

Enjoyed every minute of this dining experience. The duck and steak were cooked to perfection. Dessert was spectacular, highly recommend the chocolate cake or crème brûlée

We were a party of four. We sat at a corner table by the window and had a lovely brunch. The food was very good and the wait service was excellent. We especially appreciated the roominess between tables; we didn't feel at all crowded.

Tasty, decadent food. I've been here a couple times and everything I've had was outstanding.
