I thought the staff was very sweet and is what really saved the spot from getting a full on 1. Got the pan roasted chicken. The mashed potatoes were boxed mashed potatoes I know that for a fact cause I got a dry clump in my plate super and they were grainy. The gravy on the side was super watery and tasted sour. The green beans and chicken were phenomenal tho which at least that was great but for the price y’all charge I expected freshly made mashed potatoes not boxed and flavorless grocery store food. Again shouts out the staff here y’all are AMAZING.

It was delightful! I got the Spicy Shrimp Tacos. Three tacos on lightly toasted corn tortillas came with thinly sliced jalapeños, grilled pineapple, and grated yuca (I think). They were refreshing and fillling with just the right amount of food. The slice jalapeños make them a tad spicy, which is balanced by the sweetness of the grilled pineapple. Very delicious combo!! The atmosphere is basic. You come here for the food and the neighborhood, not for an elegant atmosphere. So it's not really a problem. It's a sweet little spot on a quiet corner. Although I've only eaten there once it appears, the menu would be enough to satisfy a regular visitor. I would return!

YOUR RESTAURANT IS A LIE.I got 2 flat, dry pieces of white meat chicken, passed off as 1/2 Chicken. Didn't even qualify as a 1/4 chicken. Then you lied and said Uber Eats would refund me $$$ because you asked them to? You've supposedly been in business for 26 Years???? well then, you know exactly how Uber Eats processes customer refunds. You think people are dumb or reta*ded? Your fake reviews are written by family!$6 "Mexican" soda???!!??? My Mexican Friend was embarrassed by this!I had to re-cook the steak with my seasoning because without the deadly hot mushroom sauce, it had Zero Taste. The mashed potatoes and veggies were excellent. But we paid close to $100 for 2 meals. The worst part was you lying to me on the phone, twice and eventually blocking my number.Well, my combined 1.2 million social media followers, 545 in Brooklyn alone, know not to patronize your restaurant..... plus, your social media hasn't been updated in 2 years!Your restaurant is a lie. I wouldn't eat there for FREE, Mr. RAUL!Good luck. GOD SEES EVERYTHING!!!

One of my favorite spots in the area. For years, their food has been consistently delicious. Chips & guac, shrimp tacos, pulled pork sandwich, chicken quesadillas are all highly recommended.

Every time before last night I had been to New York City, I've only ever had my visits in Manhattan. This was my first time in Brooklyn. I had come to the city to go to a stop on the Light Places Tour as I had purchased a ticket well before the event. I was already checked in to The Bogart at LuxUrban (did they ever get a Yelp page added yet?) and before I went to go dance my brains off, I needed something for dinner. This dinner was one of the last things I had worked out a plan for for the visit and only managed to reserve a 7 pm table on the morning of on Google.Out of towners such as myself wouldn't just be able to know about this place like 80 years beforehand, but I'm glad I had found this. It serves New American and Mexican food alike, but its look is unmistakably Mexican. Red walls and the decor really sell the look and it pulls it off SUPER well! Everything was easy to find, so you for example didn't have to go on a 90-minute manhunt just to get to the bathroom. The food you see in these 2 photos was my order. It was my first time having Esquite, and the Chicken Milanese smelled great upon arrival. Everything I had in that order was delicious and I definitely recommend this place if you are in Brooklyn and are in the mood for Mexican food! Seriously, the Esquite especially was heavenly! The service was also really good. Was seated pretty right away even though I was about 20 minutes early, and I was already eating by the time my reservation was actually supposed to begin. Waiter was nice and even checked in every so often to see how I liked the food. I even got to watch a good portion of Spider-Man: No Way Home on their TV to my side as I ate which was a nice touch.Rock on Leslie's!
