Sadly, now closed. It was a very pleasant setting for excellent Italian cuisine. Friendly and professional service. A loss to the neighborhood.

Love Love Love Loreto's is my go-to any day of the week. Unfortunately, they seem to be closed. I hope they reopen soon. It would be a shame if things ended like this

Just the right dishes to welcome us to New York!Came here as our first stop in New York to taste some great Italian cuisine in a beautiful space. Came with my 16-year-old daughter who ordered the sausage pizza which she recommends. Not only was the pizza in her opinion very light and flavorful but also filling at the same. She did not finish the pizza and took some to go. I ordered the Cacio de Pepe which was what I needed in a flavorful butter cream sauce, the noodles were a perfect al dente and plentiful. I grabbed a glass of Tonnino Pinot Grigio to go with this dish which was great ! Followed by a "Fall in Fashion" a cinnamon stick infused forward cocktail which was great as well.We will definitely be back!

I have been here twice. Once for dinner and once for happy hour. The food is always great and the restaurant decor is top notch. Service is always great. The location is great because it's next to Atlantic terminal and BAM. I've recently passed by and think they are now closed. If true, it's unfortunate because I really loved having a high end Italian restaurant in Brooklyn.

Enjoyed the salmon entree. The service was nice when they came to the table but we were seated in the back and largely ignored despite ordering a lot of food. No one checked on the table for long periods of time.

We had an incredible night. If you want good service and a great gastronomic experience, this is the best option in Brooklin.? To start, we had great drinks, well served and with the perfect level of alcohol. My favorite was the Giardino, while my wife prefers the Loreto Lavender Fizz. To accompany it, we recommend the best eggplant we've ever tasted, the name of the dish is Melanzane.?️ For the main course I ordered a steak that was perfectly cooked, with potatoes on the side, called La Bistecca and my wife ordered an incredible pasta called Fettuccine al Ragu? Finally, we asked the manager for suggestions. We really liked the Cheesecake, but the best of all was without a doubt the Chocolate Chip Cookies.I would like to highlight the excellent service from the manager Carlos, who was attentive at all times and asked if everything was ok with our orders, and also the perfect service from the waiter Glauco, who treated us very well!We will be back to try the pizzas and new drinks. It is important to make a reservation in advawnceVegetarian options: Melanzane, amazing dish ?Wheelchair accessibility: ground floor restaurant with spacious distribution. prepared to receive you.

While we have been to Loreto previously, tonight was exceptional. The manner in which we were treated by the staff was delightful, every interaction with each staff member struck the important balance of being welcoming, while never pushy. Confident, professional hospitality, making it abundantly clear that they wanted us dine with them, without any disingenuous pomp and circumstance. The restaurant has the advantage of being in a newish building, which has allowed their team to create beautiful dining experience, in a spacious layout that works for well for both the kitchen and variable parties. The food is excellent, so pleased to have Loreto in Fort Greene.

The service is unmatched. I love the interior decor with all the plants and good lighting. I’d like this to stay my hidden gem! I go here and pretty much order the same things every time with zero disappointment. You must order the Fried Eggplant (Melazane), Cacio e Pepe, and the Ragu. The Fried Brussels are a notable mention and same with the Squid Ink pasta if you’re into seafood! Can’t go wrong.

Last minute planning and in need of Italian food close by, Loreto's became the pick for my mom's birthday dinner. Service and ambiance were great, but the food could've been better. When my partner and I arrived, my parents were already seated and the host wasn't at the door. One of the servers flagged down the host and after some confusion, we found our table. After that, service was smooth sailing and our waiter was very personable and attentive. The ambiance is immaculate with beautiful lighting and plush seating. And because it was a Thursday night, it wasn't too crowded or loud. I could see myself just coming for a date and ordering a dessert just for vibes. The food was average and some dishes had their flaws. The pizzas, in particular, were slightly soggy. While there was some char on the crust, the crust wasn't crispy and couldn't withstand the weight of the toppings. Taste-wise, the tartufata pizza was fine but the vodka pizza didn't have a hint of vodka. The polpette, beef carpaccio, and beet salad were all good but nothing special. The cacio e pepe tasted great but was slightly salty, the steak and the seafood ravioli were decent but also nothing special. The portions were decently sized for the price. Nyc is not short of stellar Italian food, so while Loreto's food isn't bad, it's not something I can't get anywhere else. Guess it's onto the next.

I live a block away from Loreto and I have been planning to order from them for a while now. Yesterday I finally decided to order food for 4 people. Since COVID, I normally do not eat in restaurants but I do order takeout very frequently. Yesterday's experience with Loreto was a bad one. The food is a bit expensive for what you get and the taste is just average. The dine-in experience may be much better, but the take-out could be better. I will not go back to this place. BTW, the staff were friendly, but what troubles me is the quality of the food, the amount of food, the taste, etc. Ah, many of the Italian restaurants that I know will offer you some kind of bread, but not Loreto. Anyway, this is not a keeper, for me.

This restaurant is easy to miss, and seems like it's from another place (like it should be in midtown Manhattan). But the food is consistently good, they have a great happy hour, service is warm and inviting and the restaurant itself is beautiful, comfortable and not too loud. I've tried their pastas (cacio e Pepe and the paccheri are my faves). Brick oven (I think?) pizzas are solid. It's definitely a go-to, and doesn't feel like your typical Brooklyn restaurant (where all menus and places are starting to look identical).
