The food and pizza was excellent. Service was fine, not bad at all but not incredibly welcoming either. It’s BYOB and cash only so plan ahead and get on the list before walking over to the liquor store. Get extra drinks to enjoy while you wait!

Took my food to go, but wooo if it wasn't incredible! I'll be honest with you, while the pizza is quite good, THE CALZONE BLOWS IT OUT OF THE WATER!!!

Lucalis was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. We paid 90 bucks for a large pie, a calzone, and some pasta. It was pretty inexpensive given the hype around this restaurant. The trick is that everyone hires people to wait in line for a Rez so it’s basically impossible to get a 4 top at a reasonable time

I’ve had nearly all the pizza in Brooklyn an am sad to say that Lucali is by far the best. No competition- I’ll wait in line as needed.

This is a pizza place. I never understand why people hype up certain pizza places, it’s not difficult to make a good pizza. That being said, the pizza here is quite good. Although I’m sure you can find something eerily similar close by without the 3 hour long wait line for the ~possibility~ of a table. It’s great but… it’s pizza! Thanks Beyoncé!!

Excellent pizza. I'm not really sure how this place does it rolling the dough out with a wine bottle... Is what I would think you shouldn't do (crushing the air bubbles). A wood fired oven for NY dough? But this pizza is a hit. And the calzone was equally tasty with thin crust and (I think) ricotta and mozzarella. Everything just worked. Really enjoyed the ambiance. The staff were incredibly nice. Would definitely come back here

Actually insane how good this place is. Tried the pizzas and calzone — phenomenal!! The hype speaks for itself. The waiting process is pretty crazy but luckily we had great friends that lived nearby that were able to line up early and get a table. Super cozy inside and it’s BYOB. There are a few liquor stores nearby so that’s pretty nice. All the good food without overpriced alcohol — they know they only need to focus on their pizzas and calzone!I would say it takes a lot of effort to go here but it’s definitely worth it if you’re a huge pizza fan or want to try one of the best pizzas in NYC. I’d definitely return! They do take to-go orders as well.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lucali with my son, Roswen who was visiting from Chicago. Despite the initial challenge of getting a table, a gracious lady at the front door made it possible for us to experience the renowned cuisine of Lucali. From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped in the cozy ambiance and tantalizing aromas of freshly baked pizza. The attentive staff ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional, from recommending delicious toppings to promptly serving our piping hot pies. Each bite of the perfectly charred crust and gooey cheese transported us to pizza heaven. The dedication to quality ingredients and traditional techniques was evident in every bite. Lucali not only surpassed our expectations but also left an indelible mark on our culinary journey. We can't wait to return and savor more of their delectable creations.

Don’t listen to the haters. The pizza is great - is it going to change your world? Doubtful but what can these days - just come and eat a great pie.Got in line around 3:15 (on a Monday), you put your name down for a time slot (slots are every 60mins till close), we got in right at 5, BYOB, and cash only.We got a pizza with garlic, pepperoni, spicy peppers, and onion. And a plain calzone. Top notch both of them
