A great neighborhood pizza joint that serves consistently good pizza. This is a takeout and go place.

Luigi's is probably my favorite pizza by the slice spot in the area. You order by the counter and then pay when the pizza is heated up. There's no proper seating but there are a couple of tables where you can stand and eat. On a busy day, it might be full so it's not ideal. In terms of the slices themselves, they are always pretty crispy but not burnt, and the quality is definitely there. Are they the best pizza in the city? No. But I think the sauce and crust are usually pretty good and it's always reliable when you need a quick bite!

Well this isn't the infamous Luigi's Pizza in Brooklyn ... it's off the beaten path but a good local joint if you're in the neighborhood. The guys here are so sweet. I went on a freezing day ... there is only standing room for 2 inside which was occupied by two local chatterboxes in no rush to leave anytime soon. So prepare to wait in the freezing cold with others. The cheese pizza was cheesy enough and pretty good...just not the best. I asked for well done but there was barely any crunch to it.

Solid pizza, but nothing to go and tell this audience, "HEY EVERYONE, YOU HAVE TO COME HERE!" Because honestly, please do not come out of your way to eat slices from here. Please, I implore you not to. It is not worth it. The slices are not bad, the sauce is nice, but the slice is overly cheesed and that is what ruins it. The crust is also slightly undercooked, needing a little more time in the oven. At least the slices are fairly cheap. The better Luigi's is in Park Slope. This is not the Luigi's you are looking for.

Anytime I'm in this area I make it a point to grab a slice here. It's sooo good. Especially their garlic bruschetta slice.
I ordered two large pizzas for delivery for a small get together with family. I used the “Slice” app for the order. I was impressed by quickly the order arrived after submitting it. I received the order in about 15 minutes but that was actually the problem. The pizzas arrived as messy soups. Pizza needs to cool down and set before it should be delivered. The pizzas were too hot when they were taken out to be delivered. The delivery person did not explain what happened but he mentioned something about a “belt” on his bike (?). He apologized but I was very disappointed considering I love getting slices from Luigi’s in my way home from work. I’ve never been disappointed with slices to go. I was embarrassed to serve the pizzas to my family.I did receive a partial refund from Slice, but I will not be ordering delivery from Luigi’s again. Stick with slices from the shop and avoid delivery.

Called to ask about the status of an order. A woman answered and rudely said "You're not getting your order" before hanging up on me. Great pizza but certainly not worth the trashy service.

The bruschetta pizza is delicious if you live garlic and onions. The dough is the right texture. Not too thick or thin.

Amazingly delicious pizza pie. It had a nice kind chewy crust, not too hard. However, strictly take out, as there are no tables and almost no space to stand.
