I really, really want to give Mandeville more stars, but they’re killing me with the amount of rice they dish out for the meals. I order their curry shrimp and white rice meal all the time. It’s delicious! I mean finger-licking good! However, it’s 75% white rice and 25% shrimp. The other day I ordered a small curry chicken, it was 3 pieces of curry chicken and an entire container packed to the rim with rice. She literally had to force the little bit of salad into the container. I don’t know why we need so much rice. Don’t get me wrong—the rice is good. However, we don’t need majority of the container to be packed with rice. We need the protein! The rice is not helping with my gym gains! I need yall to portion control over at Mandeville Cuisine. Please. I’m begging! Sincerely, a grateful yet frustrated customer.

I saw the line inside and promised my stomach to treat it to a few meals. This Jamaican spot is takeout only. The staff is helpful, friendly, and ready to assist you. There is no one on their phone or distracted by side conversation. It's odd to see staff actually focus on the customers in Jamaican restaurant. They accept cash and cards. Bon Appetit!

Food was great.Always a line due their popularity.This visit, I had the curried goat which was delicious.I've also heard good reviews for their fried chicken.Parking is HORRIBLE & almost non existent. Traffic due to double parking. So good luck, as it's directly across from the precint.

There was a long line when I arrived and I decided to wait on line . When I got to the counter and proceeded to order I was met with “wi nuh have dat” for every option . The only options were cabbage, fried chicken and rice ?. No announcements were made that they ran out of food. There was still a line behind me . I understand that it was getting a little late and food will run low but an announcement would have been nice and save me the attitude. Her lashes were so thick she could have used it to fill in the edges of her lace front
