What great service and fabulous food with generous servings. Great specials and appealing affordable wine list. Had a birthday dinner for four with perfect table up front. Cannot compliment the server enough -- she was attentive and provided great service with a very professional and pleasant attitude accommodating all our requests. The lasagna is my go to but my son loved his veal scaloppini too. Every- item was perfect. Thanks much Mariella!

I feel like that was the best steak I’ve ever had! It’s four days later and I’m still thinking about it! My fiancé had the Ravioli Burro and I had the Hanger steak. She was very pleased with her plate as well. The service was great and it wasn’t very loud there at all. Will be back again!I would have added a photo but the food didn’t even make it?

The table was ready at the time of my reservation. Even though it was the typical busy Saturday night the wait staff was very courteous and attentive. The food was delicious and was served in a timely matter. Great food and great service at a fair price. What more could you ask? Always awesome to find another go to place.

Cozy, comfortable place to have a good Italian dinner and chat with good company. Good wine selection, yummy pasta (try the Mushroom and Truffle pasta), and --- important! --- very low volume, so you can have an actual conversation without yelling at other people's faces.

We returned for the homemade pasta with open kitchen, but service was inexperienced this time. It was a struggle for our server to make eye contact and the table to get his attention throughout the meal, despite the half-empty floor. At a point he looked at empty glasses and entree dishes, pushed to the side, and walked away to stand with his back to us in the kitchen. Scallops were a generous portion, but missing flavor. We had to flag down pepper and, eventually, the polite female server to order a second entree, bus the table, and we took the wine she offered. He made a huge lonely mound of cracked pepper on one corner of the food. By the time dessert menus arrived, we decided to go to Piccoli on the same block to end the meal. (Piccoli's also homemade pasta with a very experienced, warm floor staff.) While they are nice here, their service can be inconsistent.

We celebrated thanksgiving here with family and friends. Very nice staffs, accommodating and pleasant. Food was served fast. Reasonable price for a New York restaurant. Location is in a quiet part of neighborhood. Restaurant has a cozy atmosphere.

This place is a great Italian restaurant to go to for gluten free pasta! All their main dishes can be made with substitute gluten free pasta. Came here with my celiac friend and she was very happy to be able to choose. The ricotta ravioli were good, but I would mainly come back for the octopus appetiser! Cozy place, good service. We enjoyed a very pleasant evening at Mariella. Warm ambience, friendly and attentive service and comfortable noise level made it a memorable experience . The food was delicious; octopus salad, burrata bruschetta, tagliatelle with truffle oil and mushrooms, black linguine with salmon, all good. I've visited several times and enjoyed the experience.
