I love maya taqueria but this one is poorly managed and the man running it is rude and clueless. We ordered takeout and never received the meal.. after waiting 45 min with our small child wanting to get home for sleep, we gave up with no explanation or apology. I’m not sure why they think they can treat people like this in an area with so many other options.

I recently ordered take away Maya Taqueria and had the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had.The owner of the restaurant is rude and the staff are disorganized and - frankly, liars.Over the phone they told me that it would take 15-20 minutes to get my food. I arrived 20 minutes later and it wasn’t ready - they gave me no explanation. After waiting for 10 minutes, I asked about the food. The person behind the counter said they didn’t have enough steak to complete my order, so I’d have to wait. After 10 more minutes, I went back to the counter to get an eta. The owner came out of nowhere and berated me for “harassing his staff”. I explained that I’d been waiting for 40 minutes and he didn’t relent. Instead, he told me that their printer was broken and my ticket was never processed.I mentioned that the person behind the counter had a different story, which she denied. Frustrated I asked for a refund. The owner said he’d issue my refund but didn’t want me to eat their food - or come back. I left and found a much better option. My advice is to steer clear of this establishment. I’d be surprised if they are here next year.

This is one of my go-to places for Mexican food. Food tastes great and it's always delivered on time. I highly recommend using their app instead of GH/Seamless. Just works better, more choices, and more money goes to the actual restaurant and not another company.

My favorite Mexican restaurant hands down. It's what I miss the most since moving out of the area.

Huge menu with lots of options. Food is good, and you get large portions for the price. Flavor is a little generic though, but everything is tasty. will definitely be back.

Ordered a chimi style super burrito for delivery. Got a soggy mess without any of the super upgrades.I’m honestly not sure if it was soggy because they just didn’t fry it, or if it was that they covered it in bland sauce and then packed it in a plastic container so it steamed itself.Either way very disappointing. Also the shredded chicken was very bland. The only flavor in any of this was the sauce on top, which did not offer much, but was better than nothing

Streak was dry and cold, chips were amazing and out of this world. The green and red sauces were amazing. Tre’s leches needs some work as it’s too sweet.

First time there, the place is extremely overrated. Customer service is bad, the staff is a bunch of incompetents and the food didn’t taste good.

Although I've always had excellent takeaway from here, I didn't have a fantastic time dining. The specialty veggie taco was primarily lettuce and lacked flavor; the hot sauce only made it more spicy. A tamale that I also bought tasted like it had only been briefly microwaved and was only slightly warm. When I returned it, they promised to manufacture another one, but it was still warm. Despite the fact that they gave me a refund, which I appreciated, I don't believe I'll go back to eat here because there are so many other similar establishments close by.

Delicious food. They really need to change whatever they use for cleaning products though- the smell was so overpowering in the back and front we had to take our food to go.

Good clean flavors, without undue fanciness or not-needed additions, that's about all.

Salsas we’re very good but otherwise it’s a Classic disappointing nyc style burrito. I don’t know why they think anyone wants to eat a big ball of dry rice instead of a more balanced burrito but here we are. The ingredients were tasty but mushy and could have been assembled better. I’m no authority but I have eaten burritos in California and this doesn’t remind me of them. Definitely had worse but it makes me wonder who devised this recipe. Just put less of the mushy rice in and it will be better idgi.

The food was mid. I thought this was an authentic Mexican, but it's Tex Mex food. I had the tacos and they were pretty good. Flavorful, but not what I was looking for in Mexican food. The guacamole didn't really have flavor, it's pretty bland, maybe it's to cater a particular group of people. Their pico de gallo was also bland. I had better Mexican food. My friends liked the burrito and quesadillas they had. So this place might not be for me, but it could be for you. Try it out.

This is the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time. Had the fish tacos which were unlike any I have had before, but the fish was well seasoned and tender, and the chipotle sauce delicious, and the helping was abundant and very reasonable price can hardly wait to get back to Brooklyn and try something else.
