Ok here we go This place is SUB PAR at best This is supposed to be Japanese food and bring a person who if born and raise in NYC and visited Japan frequently since 2001 the food is not the best. Especially for the price 16 bucks for a "lunch special " bento box of teriyaki chicken which was basically grilled with teriyaki sauce dumped over it rolls were old rice hard soup trash and no napkins no chop sticks no utensils at all and the audacity to charge that much? In Brooklyn Williamsburg this might be acceptable but even in downtown SoHo this is 8-10 and WAY WAY better Big mistake Acid at all cost

I frequently order takeout and eat at Mizu. Staff is really friendly and food is always great. Mizu is a wonderful family owned restaurant in Williamsburg!!!

Great little spot! Service was good. They have an awesome lunch special, but even if you don't get that, the rolls are reasonably priced with great quality & portion size. Decent wine selection as well.

Ordered from here a few days ago on Grubhub and got food poisoning. Grubhub shows this restaurant has 5 stars but when you read into the reviews more there are a lot of complaints of the food not being fresh. Would not recommend ordering from here.

Incredibly disappointed with my dining experience at Mizu. I opted for a lunch special to go and returned to my workplace to enjoy my meal. The excitement quickly turned into horror as, mid-bite, I noticed movement in the plate of sushi before me. To my dismay, a small grey crawling bug in my sushi!!!Taking immediate action, I contacted Mizu to inform them of the unsettling discovery and decided to return to the restaurant. Upon arrival, I showed the bug to the lady at the front, who not only confirmed its presence but also casually touched and flicked it off her hand right there in the establishment. This level of disregard for hygiene and customer satisfaction is absolutely revolting.Given this experience, I strongly advise against dining at Mizu. There are undoubtedly better sushi places that prioritize cleanliness and customer well-being over negligence.

I got takeout and ordered the salmon and avocado and the Godzilla roll. I picked the Godzilla roll over the spicy tuna but wouldn’t recommend it. It honestly didn’t taste crunchy even after 5 minutes getting back to my house. The orders come with 6 pieces each.

The food is decent. However, they made a mistake about the delivery address on their end which resulted in their delivery driver verbally assaulting my partner and doorman. The driver was extremely aggressive and cursed at us because he was dispatched to the wrong address by whoever hands out orders at the restaurant. This lead to him being kicked out of my building by the front desk; food was damaged in transit to add insult to injury.

Best lunch special in Williamsburg hands down. Their bento box with all that is pictured - edamame, rice, shumai, California roll and your choice of main is only $13.99 for lunch and also comes with a miso soup. They also have sushi lunch specials as well. It's such a great value for delicious food. Delivery is prompt and accurate.
