This place I have gone to twice, and never disappoints. By far my favorite Japanese restaurant. My favorites are the Oyako Don, Onigiri (all of them), and Chicken Katsu Don. Can’t wait to come back!!Parking: Very hard to park so I did carry out.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is literally THE BEST and THE MOST UNIQUE Japanese resturant in the entire South Brooklyn area. I have visited hundreds of Japanese or Asian resturants throughout my 17 years living in US or Brooklyn. As a food enthusiast i always value the restaurant's price and overall quality to find the definition of a great and low-key family style restaurant. This is the kind of asian restaurant you will be guaranteed to return for more. This is the restaurant will leaves a mark in your hard-working souls. Because this is the closest place where you can find authenic mom & pops foods (to a large extend) for the love of awesome Japanese foods! I had an easy 10/10, the best wholesome Japanese/Asian food experience ever have waited for a long period of time. And to the owner(s) of this restaurant, thank you to figure out such a textbook-like low-key cozy Japanese resturant and such a fun customer-oriented business model (will be a huge success follow this principle), the 1st ever seen in NY in my opinion.

The online ordering process was very easy. The menu was diverse and very affordable.We ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box, the karrage curry and the salmon Cobb salad. I couldn't resist adding a yellowtail sushi roll as well.Pick up was easy. Unfortunately, when I got back to the hospital, I noticed that the chicken teriyaki bento box was missing. There was no phone number on the website to call. The number on YELP was not useful. There was nothing to do but walk back from the hospital. Thankfully it wasn't busy. When we told them about the missing meal, the tone in which the guy asked why we didn't bring the whole bag back made it seem like he was accusing me of trying to steal a meal from them.... Why would we walk all the way back from the hospital with the rest of our food to pick up our missing order?!!!The lady then noticed that there was a brown bag with a chicken teriyaki bento box on the counter that was ours. There was a mistake during the bagging process.She apologized and gave us a free dessert. But unfortunately, despite having this great option by the hospital, I can't see myself coming back. I can't shake the feeling of being accused of trying to get a free meal...

Everything at Momo is absolutely fantastic. The salmon teriyaki bento box is to die for with a rotating selection of delicious homemade sides. I order lunch daily from here, and everything — the sushi rolls, the rice bowls the sides, are all excellent. The staff is top notch This place has saved us all at lunchtime out at the Brooklyn army terminal.

Affordable and straight forward japanese food. The hours are pretty limited, but its great if you're nearby and need something quick for lunch. They have some of the classics like katsu curry and sandwiches. Affordable items and the staff are very welcoming.

what a friendly bunch of people and delicious I mean DELICIOUS FOOD. We got a mix of things - soup of the day, karaage salad, chicken katsu bowl, and shrimp tempura roll. All very tasty and for a great price too. My personal standouts were the karaage salad and soup. The chicken karaage was juicy and flavorful. Perfectly seasoned. And not to mention all the ingredients in my salad tasted so fresh! The soup of the day was mushroom soup. There were pieces of bacon in it which added a nice smokey flavor. The interiors are cozy and momos is the perfect place to stop by for a quick bite. Or if you want to take your meal out to the pier and eat by the water…what a romantic day! We made our way out to the water after and it was the perfect day filled with delicious comforting foods :)

Affordable lunch spot. Got the Karaage Bento. It's tiny though, recommend take out.
Just had lunch at Momo Test Kitchen. Tried the eel bowl with rice, and my coworker got the salmon bento box. We also enjoyed a spicy tuna roll, a salmon avocado roll, and two green teas. The meal was consistently fantastic, and Momo Test Kitchen is a reliable choice near my workplace. Way to go! Waiting for them to have an omakase tasting menu !

This place is the best! I’ve had their chicken katsu curry and spam musubi. Solid flavors. I’m going to try their Kareage chicken next and then pretty much going through the entire menu after that! I’m so glad there’s finally some food options in this area!

This place is an amazing addition to the Brooklyn Army Terminal area.Sushi is very fresh, miso soup is filling with seaweed and tofu. They baked their own cookies that are gluten free and delicious.The peach Sorbet is a nice palate cleanser!Highly recommend
