I visited this busy pub on a Friday night, and it was conveniently down the street from the L. I got the pub burger, which was cooked excellently although the onions were a bit bitey. The fries were just alright. They have a solid beer selection.

One of the Best Wings I’ve tried and that saying a lot. The atmosphere can be up and down depending on the vibe that day. Everyone is really friendly specially the owner, very warming loving personality. Oh the sweet potato fries normally, not everyone can them good but they do an excellent job, the taste crispness and lightly salted to perfection.

Dropped in here to meet friends before a nearby concert for food and drinks. Had wanted to try it for a while, as it felt and sounded like the kind of old school, no-frills, divey place I tend to love, But for whatever reason I just didn't love the vibe of it or particularly enjoy my food and drink. I had the Mom's Meatloaf Sandwich, which I thought was kinda small for $16 and fairly bland, topped with an odd chipotle mayo that didn't go with it for me. My girlfriend made a surprise move and got the Cauliflower Wings, a kind of vegetarian take on a buffalo wing, which were fairly tasty, if a bit one note--the blue cheese crumbles were a welcome touch, but I really wish they just went all in and had a blue cheese dip for them rather than the disappointing ranch choice. Tater tots were excellent, as one would hope and expect. Beer list was struck me as fine if uninspired--a lot of pseudo-craft or super popular mass-market "craft" offerings (e.g., Bluepoint, Goose Island, Kona, Blue Moon, Bells Two Hearted) but nothing particularly unique or different or local, which felt like a bit of a miss given the location and plethora of options. It's a fine place, relatively spacious, and nice and dark, as a bar should be. Nothing super wrong with it at all, wouldn't hate to come back but nor would I rush back here. Sometimes you just don't quite vibe with a place--so it goes.

I had a burger with cheddar cheese and caramelized onions and a sliced tomato with a side of sweet potato fries. I enjoyed this meal tremendously.
After my excellent experience with this restaurant, I can confidently say that this was the best food and service of all time. I have been to thousands of restaurants as a food critic and analyst and this stood out the most. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries, and they were cooked perfectly. So juicy and flavorful. I 100% recommend this place for anyone in the New-York area.
