I'm a big fan of Motorino in the E. Village and it was my first time in this location - and this is even better than the E. Village! Came for lunch, it's easy to get to if you're in Williamsburg, just walk under the bridge into S. Williamsburg and it is on your left. The room is more spacious than the E.Village location with plenty of Brooklyn charm. It's light and bright and has a cute bar. Our waiter was very nice and we chatted about the different locations and the differences in the pies at each one. This is their main kitchen and the prep is done here and delivered to the other branches. The pies here are slightly thicker than the E. Village but somehow they feel more light and airy with a distinctive texture and sourdough taste. The lunch special is a green salad and a pie of your choice for $18.00 or so which is a very good deal. The sauce and toppings are high quality and tasty, I love how buttery the mozzarella tastes, and the salad is a generous size for a 'freebie'. My husband had the Proscuitto di Parma which is a white pie. It's his go-to here and he rated it highly, the Proscuitto is perfectly cut and sweet not salty. I had the Amatriciana for the first time, it's sausage, chilis, and scallions on a red pie. I was a little unsure about the scallions (being a pizza purist) but they complemented everything perfectly, I'll definitely be ordering this again! Top tip: if you order two pies for delivery/takeout you get a third one free!

Located close to the East river waterfront, this place is around 5-7 mins walk from the Marcy Ave MTA station. The restaurant has an old ambiance which I believe should be improved upon apart from the fact that they seemed understaffed to me, luckily there wasn't much of a crowd for dinner. These people make Neapolitan style brick oven pizza, the server was pretty friendly enough with his recommendation and we went for Dom Dom pizza with mushrooms as topping. The pizza was basically tomato sauce, fresh buffalo mozzarella cheese, basil leaves and olive oil sprinkled on top from what I can recollect. The pizza base and crust were soft while the tomato sauce felt a bit on the tangy side. The mushrooms were a good choice for topping while adding more to the taste! For dessert, we had tiramisu. The dessert was tasty but would have been even better had they served it really fresh!Overall a good option in the area which boasts a lot of pizzerias, but definitely needs some work on ambiance to up their game in the competitive times!

We came here for a baby shower, which included food. So this review doesn't account for price. This is one of my more favorite restaurants I've been to since moving to NYC. The inside was bright, quite pretty, and the right blend of casual and more formal. Good for families, dates and more formal lunches/dinners. I tried the Caesar salad and pieces of Margherita, cheese less pizza and the pepperoni/sopressata all were great. The sauce had the right amount of saltiness / zing. The cheese less pizza was ok, but probably the one thing I wouldn't try again. The tiramisu was definitely one of the better ones I've tried - it has the right flavor profile for a tiramisu but was neither too sweet nor too bitter from the taste of the cacao and alcohol. It had a balanced flavor.

Walked in. Place was empty. 2 ppl came in. Sat at bar in their FaceTime calls. Asked politely how long they were going to have their loud tinny conversations. Server/bartender told us we could leave if we didn’t like it. Sad we had a $150 order being placed and we were asked to leave because we don’t want to listen to a phone call.

We were in Brooklyn and stopped in for a quick lunch. We thought it would be a quick slice - but this was way better. They don't do slices, and it's more of a sit down experience with waiter service. We ordered the Buffalo Mozz Margherita pizza. Was a 'personal' size -but was plenty for 2. It was probably 18 inches in diameter. The pizza was awesome - the sauce & crust all worked together very well. The place itself was nice and the kitchen with a brick oven was open so you could see the food coming out. Everything we saw looked great. I'd go back anytime and highly recommend it.

Service is amazing, perfect pizzas, restaurant has an amazing environment with good music, visible kitchen, and an overall good vibe. Servers were energetic and seemed to put tons of care into everything they did.

Certain things are not for everyone... the sopressata pie was not good. I couldn't stomach the taste of the meat. I had to take them all off and even the left over taste had to be masked by sauce. Definitely wouldn't recommend that pie!

Ran around Brooklyn eating pizza, this was well crafted with good ingredients, cool brick oven and NY style real nice light in there, huge windows facing the street. Had a large group and were able to seat all tigether . Cool people working, espresso martini is a muss.
