Frozen tiramisu was disappointing. You’d think for $11 a piece you get something freshly made. Can’t recommend.

I had high hopes for this place, but it doesn’t meet my expectations. The drinks were not impressive but they are okay. The cake was really disappointing, I didn’t taste much matcha, just powdery sweet, pretty boring cake. It’s not a place to experience true Japanese culture or food but a please to enjoy the vibe of something people are raving and taking photos.

Yesterday we went to this place for the first time, the matcha tiramisu was delicious. The sorbets and drinks are also highly recommended, but the boy who served us around 6:00pm takes the prize. Super friendly and willing to help. We will definitely go back!!

This is a very cute place! the employees were very sweet! This is the best matcha tirimisu i have had!!! i got the brown sugar matcha and it reminds me of a mochi matcha or like a boba matcha taste which i love so i love it! seriously a must try!! very authentic and you can really get an amazing matcha flavor

We stopped by here for some drinks on a Saturday. I got the Matcha Latte Float which actually comes with ice cream! It was yummy but the taste came through a lot more after the ice cream was melted. I like the concept but feel that it could actually be executed a little better. Overall - the shop is cute and I'll have to come back to try the tiramisu!

Didn't get anything because when we went in there were two staff chatting and eating something without greeting or any kind of attention. (It was Saturday night)I hope the owner or manager sees this review and notices that they've hired the wrong people in the customer service position...?
Nippon cha is a small little matcha cafe in Williamsburg. It has self service ordering and a small amount of indoor + outdoor seating. I ordered the matcha tiramisu and a matcha latte. The tiramisu was super good, rich matcha flavor and creamy. Not too sweet either. The matcha latte was okay. The matcha looks like it's super good quality, but the flavor was just okay. Maybe too overpowered by the milk. I would definitely go again for their tiramisu, and maybe try a different drink. Overall really cute place!

I went here with a friend and had a wonderful time. Keep in mind they don't have much int he way of seating. The matcha was very fresh and high quality. And they also brought a table in off the street for us because it was very hot that day.

It is a cute place and the staff were super nice, I'm just not very into the taste of their cake and drink. The matcha tiramisu had a great presentation but the taste was very flat, so was the tochucha drink. Again, I appreciate everything but it is just not my cup of tea.

The matcha was not mixed well at all and sooo clumpy!! You can literally see the chunks of matcha powder in my drink pictured. It made the drinking experience pretty unenjoyable. The shop is small and crowded as well, but they had a nice selection of kitchenware and supplies to make your own matcha at home. Their ordering system is pretty fast and easy with the kiosk. I think the matcha they use is very high quality since it was so vibrant, but the failure to fully dissolve it kicked the drink down a few notches.

Stumbled into Nippon Cha and was immediately presented with a beautiful store front. It's small and well put. I enjoyed a match tiramisu. AMAZING. Literally a must try if you're here. Sweet and delicious. The matcha is so so good. Definitely happy that I came in randomly.
