There are more than a handful of reasons to knock off 1 star here dear Norbert's I'm sorry, but don't get me wrong - this joint is still one of my go-to's for a vegan slice. For starters, the hours of operation have always been inconsistent even before 2020. It's like literally closed sometimes for no reason, and opens pretty late from my years of observation. Secondly, it's sometimes a little scary out there ::ahem JMZ Myrtle Broadway:: So...I suppose you should enjoy your pizza slightly on guard outside in the summer sun or make sure to eat it inside, although it's a little coze. Third, they legit just cut their vegan menu down into less than half of what they used to offer recently, which is absolutely freakin' devastating full stop. I would eat that vegan chicken pesto like it's my job if they'd bring it back. Overall, the prices are still less pricey than Williamsburg and they still have a vegan pesto slice sans veg chicken.

Super doughy and not make with love.

Really terrible service, rats were actually running around in the kitchen as we were ordering food. Crazy that this place is even open

I've ordered many different items here over the last two years including pies, slices, pasta, and sandwiches; to sum up in one word how I felt after trying each of these food items would be disappointment. Even the garlic knots lack any flavor, and I had to season them at home just to enjoy the warm toast that was sold to me. The one thing I did enjoy from here is the salad, but they don't open until two pm, so you really can't have a nice lunch salad. I appreciate that they are open late night for hungry vegans, however, just because it's late and we're hungry, doesn't mean we deserve unflavored food. The staff are always nice though.

Not my absolute favorite slice in the world but it's open late and it the best go-to for a cheap satisfying slice. Bonus points for the cute ambiance and vegan-friendly menu!

Great food, service and atmosphere but almost always out of vegan slices, esp meat lover's which is the best kind. Also, you may want to consider opening earlier. I'm sure a lot of people would go for a lunchtime Norbert's slice. Worth a shot!

Good music, large slices. Saw that they have pasta options but I went pretty late in the night so there were none available then. Still glad I stopped in to try their grandma
Twice now I’ve ordered online and had my order cancelled without reason. It’s unfortunate because I love the food but I won’t be ordering from a place that cancels my order 40 mins after it’s placed and then doesn’t pick up the phone when I call.
I've visited Norbert's on three occasions now. The cheese pizza consistently delivers with its solid flavor and a nice crispy bottom, but I must mention that it tends to be a bit doughy (which some people may love!). Personally, I'd prefer a thinner crust or a bit more sauce if it were to remain as doughy as it currently is.On the other hand, my experience with the vegan meat lovers slice left me quite disappointed. I had high hopes for it, but it lacked structural integrity with the crust lacking any crispiness. Additionally, the flavors, especially the vegan cheese, were not up to par.Despite this, I must commend the friendly staff and the overall ambiance of the space, which are both top-notch. I do plan on returning because I genuinely enjoyed their traditional pie.

I love this tiny place 2 doors down from the giant in your face pizza joint. Whenever I go to visit my dealer.....of exotic scents, oils and treasures, I make sure I'm carrying a few singles so I can stop at Norberts for a quick slice or what I like to call, doing a quickie.

The pizza is reasonably priced and decent. I had some very large slices and I couldn't even finish one. The woman was very generous and nice. I almost didn't see this location as I was walking to go to Krazy Pizza for the first time. I definitely preferred something like this so I stopped in. They were about to close. The pizza was on the saltier side which I'm not opposed to. I ordered two plain slices but gave one away due to how massive the pizza was. They are definitely on my radar when I'm in the area and need food.

The pizza was just not good. Thick undercooked dough, tough dry toppings, and flavorless sauce. We ordered the vegan wings which took 45 minutes to come out despite originally being told it would take 15. You get 3 wings for $12 (so $4/wing) and they're soggy as hell with BBQ sauce on them (for a hot wing? Wack).
