I love this spot! The maki lunch special is just an unbeatable deal. The service is great, since the spot is pretty small the staff is just a few people but they are very well attentive. I think the ambiance may put some off because the store clearly makes most their business through delivery orders--there is a desktop taking orders in the front when you come in and really only enough room to comfortably sit 4, maybe 6 people maximum. Despite that I would really urge you to give the spot a chance.

My go to dish here is the Kalbi dinner bento box. It's super flavorful and the beef is quite tender! When I ordered it recently, instead of discounting because they ran out of the Kalbi beef or calling to let me know that they couldn't fulfill the order- they ended up giving me half Kalbi beef and half regular beef chunks. The beef was overcooked and tough. Sorry, not everyone who orders is non Asian in Bayridge, especially now when there's an influx of more Asians. And yes, we should be supporting one another, but I was disappointed to find out about their dishonesty and probably getting away with it with those who don't know any better. It was nice while it lasted as the only one who sold it on their menu.

Ambiance is otrocious, at first look I wanted to run out but felt awkward so I stayed. I mean the reviews are phenomenal so I must try it before knocking. I was the only person there, but it was 12:30 on a weekday so I didn't expect too much. I ordered lunch special three rolls , one special roll and one yellow tail jalapeño. The fishiest nastiest yellowtail I have ever tried. I barely sealed one piece , I left the rest. The regular rolls were just that, regular. Nothing to write home about .. wouldn't return . Fresh, flavorful, well-constructed sushi. I've tried a few of the rolls, and everything has been really good. The quality of the fish is some of the best around here. Everyone who works here is so lovely. Great spot for pickup!

This is hands down my favorite sushi in Brooklyn and honestly the best sushi I've ever had! I stumbled upon this place last year and have tried plenty of sushi since but nothing compares. The quality of the fish they use is incredible, super fresh. Every roll I've tried has been delicious. But I think what really makes it that much better is that you can tell that they put love into their food. The owners are super kind and welcoming. Every time I come in, I'm treated with the utmost respect and care. They are hardworking and humble people that genuinely want you to have a good experience. I have been to Okinawa a few times. We also ordered for delivery to my job. There sushi here is delicious and so fresh . I ordered the sweet potato tempura and the avocado rolls.They are delicious. The owners are the sweetest people. Always so friendly and so kind. Thank you for the delicious sushi and being such nice people. You make going there such a pleasure. Highly recommend!
