I give one star because I can't give less. They are scammers. I took 4 croissants and they were $5 and one of those charged me $50 when he charged me, he scammed me! I didn't think they would be capable!! What a pity that I saw the payment later! NO ONE BUY HERE

Friendly person at the bakery. It was our first time at a Jewish bakery and their recommendations were amazing. Babka and Challah bread were fresh and tasty.

The most amazing chocolate babka ever! Take a peek at the layers! Excellent experience; you may ask them to bring you a piece for the price you'd like to pay, and the pricing is determined by weight. The piece I purchased was far heavier than it appeared, and it was about $37, but you still get what you pay for. Need to give it a shot!

Was given the double chocolate babka from a friend who knows I love babka. Dare I say too much chocolate lol but delicious nonetheless

One of the best babkas out there. You pay by weight and he lets you pick out the one you like. The chocolate babka is decadent and hefty. The babka is very traditional but is perfect. The rugelach are also fantastic. They were just pulling out warm cinnamon rugelach when I arrived; they were to die for. It may be intimidating to shop here as the shopkeeper speaks some broken English, but you get the full experience of shopping in a Satmar neighborhood staple. It's probably best to bring cash. I will be back.

A delicious babka experience right in the middle of this Brooklyn neighborhood that makes you feel like a devoted wholesale client with unrestricted access to a Jewish dessert paradise every time you come! Gloves and a bag, welcoming as if they were family, the only rule being to stuff it full of all the rich, luscious goodness that this little bakery has to offer in every corner and cranny! The babka is enormous and incredibly flavorful! There's no way you can miss this! This is the main goal of supporting local businesses!

When we did the excursion of contrasts, in the Jewish quarter, they stopped us here. They let us enter the staff toilet, mega small and through the kitchen area (I imagine it was a concert with the company)Sweets from another planet. I would return without a doubt. Interesting to know their culture.

TOP TIER BABKA! Once you have this babka, every other babka you eat going forward will not be able to compare. The texture is dense and thick and perfectly flavorful with every bite. It’s absolutely exceptional and I highly recommend!!
