Absolutely fantastic old school Italian restaurant. The food is superb. The portions are humongous. The ambience is old school Brooklyn. Andy and the staff treat you like family whether you are a regular or a new customer. And the homemade baksamic vinaigrette, red sauce and ricotta cheesecake are out of this world.

Been going here for years when living in the area. And yet it's still so good even when you order take out, the taste doesn't change a lot over time. Very local and family owned business.
Danggggg this place was so good! Went with a big crew for a birthday dinner and got tons of dishes. We usually go to Spumoni Gardens and always compare our foods to there but we were impressed with the food quality AND quantity of Ortobellos! Although I didn't get a pic, the baked clams were phenomenal. So good, I could eat that as an entree alone. Split chicken parm with spicy vodka and chicken sorrentino for entrees. Great quality, huge portions, amazing flavors, and nothing like a family feel. Definitely will be coming back!

Used to come here at least once a week when we lived in Bklyn 35 years ago! So happy to see it's still there, exactly like it was back in the day, now run by their son!! The food is just as great now as it used to be then! The Entrees are big enough to be shared by two, appetizers and white house wine were delicious. The rigatoni vodka sauce was out of this world as was the breaded clam sauce!! We ate the homemade ricotta cheesecake before I could even take a pix... it was fresh, soft, fluffy! Bravo, keep up the great work!!
