While I have never tried panda kitchen, I will say at the very least that they tell you upfront they're charging you dollar 1.99 per delivery. We appreciate the honesty. I do hope they understand that some customers may not wish to tip the delivery person after being post charged for the delivery before receiving the food. but since I will not use golden China anymore because of their greedy practices, I will certainly try panda kitchen, food, and delivery. If the food is delicious, as it should be, I will certainly add a positive comment and appropriate stars to my review.

It’s mid, barely any pork in a PORK fried rice, chicken is over fried and old, ladies are mean. Something’s gotta get better?

The food is quite decent here, much better than places closer to me. Portions are good, and the wonton soup has some nice pieces of pork added like one would get in the old days.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Never have I experienced such discrimination in all my time going there until today! Some businesses don't care about you being a longtime neighborhood customer, and PANDA is one. I ordered a dish on the lunch special for delivery asked what was in it. They named 4 different vegetables( mushrooms, celery, carrot and baby corn. I recieved my food with all Carrots! Hard not steamed ,raw carrots w gravy!! instead of correcting it or replacing it they hung up on me not once but three times! It goes beyond a order but it showed me what and how they view ppl of color in my Zip code!

On Friday, May 12th 2023, I walked inside the store. I noticed, there was a table but no chair. There was a bench in front of the display glass. I ordered boneless chicken, but I asked the lady behind the counter, " Where are the chairs?" She said " There aren't any" So, I ask her, " How will I be able to sit down and eat my food?" She came out from the counter, and pulled the table up against the bench. I sat down on the bench and eat my food from the bench. No sooner, than I finished my food, the lady came from behind the counter and pulled the table from the bench, so that way, nobody else would be able to eat there. I find that unwelcoming and disrespectful. I live in the neighborhood and I am very surprised, that nobody complaines about, not being able to sit down and eat, while all the other eating establishments in the area, you can. If people can't eat there, then Panda Kitchen is in the wrong business. At first they blamed it on COVID. Now that, it no longer an emergency health threat, there is no excuse, why they are not providing chairs for their customers, to be able to sit down and enjoy their lunch, like a decent human being ! And the prices have went up, considerably. Now, you can't even get a can of seltzer water, without spending $20 first. ?

Panda was the pinnacle of Chinese restaurants in East New York. I remember patronizing there since 1998. When the owner was "Tom". Their general tso chicken was sublime. Today, everything is different. The food is not as freshly tasting, the orders hardly come with Broccoli as it used to in the past. Its just sad now. So its now subpar. My order on the first Sunday in 2023 was so bad no one in the house ate it and I spent $50 on various things we used to enjoy. Even if prices have to be higher, the food needs to be fresh and smell good.
