The restaurant is owned by a dishonest man who will charge you more than you ordered. I visited his restaurant on March 15. The owner first balked at accepting a credit card. When I turned to go he told me he DID take credit cards. I also saw on his register the signs for Visa, Mastercard, etc. My bill came to $13.00. When I handed my card to pay, he ran it, but didn't give me a receipt. Instead, he told me that his machine had run out of paper. He reiterated he'd charged me $13.00. I later found out he'd charged me over $17. He's probably done the same thing to others and gotten away with it.Stay away if you don't want a thief taking your money.

Following up on my previous review from 4 years ago, these guys have only gotten better. The falafel and kabobs are so delicious and my go-tos, but I find it hard to not get a Schwarma plate every time I’m there. I never specify sides when I order a plate because everything is delicious.
sandwich was amazing i hate to say it but just for clarity beware i got really bad food poisoning after eating the falafel sandwich maybe they need to wash their produce/hands more

I love fool - it’s a fava bean dish that you eat with pita. Different middle eastern cultures have a version of it. Pita palace has a fool dish on the menu so I decided to try it. When I called in the order, the owner told me “it’s the best fool in the nation, Puerto Rico and Canada”. I’ve eaten this dish before many times, in many establishments and I’ve even made it myself. I have to admit, the fool dish at pita palace was truly the best I’ve had. The spice and seasoning is next level. If you’ve never had fool before, I highly recommend you try the version from pita palace.

Freakin DELICIOUS. The chicken shawarma is the most flavorful I've ever had, the kufta kebab was juicy and yummy, pickled carrots had a nice bit of spice and the salad was light and nice in between. The man serving us was also so nice and gave my boyfriend and I each a little falafel to eat while we wait. Will definitely be back!!!

We are moving out of the neighborhood in a few months and are heartbroken to lose this local gem. My partner and I have been coming here for a couple of years- hands down nicest staff and the yummiest comfort food when you need your falafel fix!
