I was so glad to visit Radio Star to catch up with a friend. We had a perfect relaxing afternoon in a super tasteful decor drenched in a sun while listening to perfectly curated music this place has such a great attention to detail! the salad and broccoli rabe were so tasty the service was lovely too

Giving this a 2 star bc frankly it’s just confusing, bordeline misleading. For one thing the name makes no sense- this is a pretty one-note meditteranean restaurant, with a dash of wellness(?) thrown in because hey, it’s Franklin Ave. Idk what I was expecting- I think based on the name and instagrammability and location maybe another generic French/American bistro. It’s definitely more on the middle-eastern tip which is fine but not immediately obvious. The RS Martini is not well described. The menu basically says it’s a briney martini (hell yeah) but it actually is a cucumber and dill flavored martini (hell no). I had to send it back, I hate dill. There is no mention of dill in the description. I settled on a glass of Gruner which was very good. They weirdly seem to just put olive oil and pistachio on top of everything almost indiscriminately. Even the chicken liver mousse, which is just bizarre… kind of like pouring red wine over buttery mashed potatoes, it’s basically the opposite flavor profile, and not in the good way. I tried to eat around the oil but it seemed to seep into every bite. The pistachios were nice but overall I would say this is a no.Even the free bread was misleading- it’s pita-which of course is not a big deal but still not what i imagined when we ordered the side to go with it. I dont want to sound too picky but i do kind of like to know what i’m getting into. They have these chicken ball things that actually scared me when i bit into them and there was some kind of hot liquid pouring out i basically spit it out before realizing it was supposed to be there and not you know, raw chicken guts. Again, not mentioned on the menu whatsoever. The merguez was a little gamey which could just be me but combined with the filo I would say it’s almost objectively too rich. The service was very good. My wife had the Video Kills cocktail which was delicious.I doubt i’ll be back. They also offer yoga(?) So. There’s another spot on Franklin where you can do yoga now.

Super cute and cozy space with shareable plates and good cocktails/wine menu. We came in for a late dinner and shared slow carrots, the filo pie special of the day, and charred broccoli rabe which were all flavorful and delicious. Staff were knowledgeable about the wine and made a great recommendation. I’m looking forward to trying the breakfast and lunch menu!

Stopped in for a last minute dinner reservation and ordered the merguez in a blanket, mushroom filo pie, and labne & pig cheeks with hazelnuts. Really enjoyed all three dishes especially the merguez in a blanket (which is offered for both lunch and dinner). The dish reminded me of Uzbek samsa dishes I used to order during my time in China, and the chili oil sauce that comes with the dish is insanely good. What's the secret?! Great intimate atmosphere and I would definitely come back for brunch.

I got the Labne & Pig Cheeks. It was really good, but I was wondering where the rest of it was. The portion was so small that I thought it was an appetizer. The food and drinks were good, but I was still so hungry afterward that I ended up getting more food from another restaurant to actually fill up.

Beautiful space. Service was friendly. We got the breakfast griddle sandwiches expecting it to be bread but it was was some kind of fried bread... very oily.

so happy to have the Glasserie in brunch form! honestly the food was delicious, the merguez was our favorite we ordered it twice. the service was amazing especially Stacy who was so nice to accommodate our party and made us feel taken care of with her suggestions and wine pairings. Love that they also preserved and honored the history of Greenpoint and the radio station. this is the kind of establishment we need to see more of! History, great service, stylish ambiance, and of course incredible food. what more could you ask for?

Very good food, very slow and poor service. We were sat for 90 minutes and got 2 drinks because no one ever asked if we wanted more.As we sat we were immediately told the table was needed in 90 minutes. Which wouldn’t be too bad but the “so get your food order in quick” made us feel rushed.Overall, the food was amazing. I’d probably try it again cause of that but the service left a lot to be desired.

The space is beautiful. The staff are very nice and accommodating. We were excited to try this new restaurant. Unfortunately, the food gave my partner and I extreme stomach aches. I don't know what it was. Perhaps, a food allergy or food poisoning? We don't know. The feta in a jar was too salty for our taste. We had to return it. I'd give it another chance - maybe it was an off night. I hope they can expand the wine list and/or provide bottle options too and more vegetarian options.

Love this newish restaurant in Greenpoint! I went for lunch today. The restaurant is beautiful and very bright! The service is good, the guy helping me was nice and helpful. The food was yummy. I ordered the smoky pork griddle sandwich. It was perfect! The homemade chili sauce on the side was delicious.
