I have been here a couple times, found it by accident when I was kicked out of Milk & Pull for trying to order with my dog (bloop ordering to go that is with my small dog in a bag, I tried to stand outside and then order and go back outside only to come back to pick up the order but alas they didnt want that so I shall not go back, anywho). Thank you M&P for allowing me to find Rita & Maria. The decor was super cute, a little hipster for me tbh haha, but the vibes were welcoming and nice. I love being able to pop in with my dog, while being respectful to customers and the cashiers. The space is nice and open. The drinks were additionally excellent, not too sweet, priced well for the other cafes and bakeries I go to in the area, and also the pastry I bought for my husband the first time was awesome. I have been a few times and I did not get a pastry last time but I definitely want to try more pastries and their frittata, which looked awesome. The staff was super friendly, so I def cannot wait to come back in the summer on walks alone, with my husband and/or our pup!

The bean they’re using made a delicious flat white, which tasted as beautiful as it looked. And *BONUS* a gluten free muffin. What a lovely surprise. Thanks for taking care of us with food allergies!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

A cozy neighborhood spot with cool retro vintage vibes. Their pastry selection is always fantastic and includes GF and vegan options. My favorite is their lime and sumac tea cake which is absolutely divine.

I love this place! They have the best pastries you can find, both savory and sweet, they taste very fresh and they also have an amazing variety of baked goods, some you will only find here. With that being said I do believe they could benefit having the store better staffed on weekends since it gets pretty busy. We ordered some pastries and they got some of those wrong and also forgot to give us one of them. My cold brew never came out and once I asked they quickly poured it into a cup for me. We even kept everything under one transaction thinking it would make things easier, we ordered 4 pastries and 3 coffees. This is no fault to the folks working at the register or whoever barista they had that day, I believe they simply need one more person grabbing pastries/ refilling their water station and bussing tables which get cups and bags left behind because their tiny trash can is full.At night time they also serve cocktails and the vibe is pretty nice! You should definitely check this place out ?

Super cozy café in the neighborhood. Everything is just right: the natural lighting that floods the room, the super friendly yet reserved service, the coffee and its price. It feels comfortable in here and I look forward to spending all of my fall days at Rita & Maria’s.

I thought this was a social experiment when I was left with a boiled egg and a few pickles.I looked around to see if anyone was going to let us in on the joke. But it was literally mustard, pickles and an egg.If you want to feel hungrier then what you were before. 100% recommend.

I buy their food and it's excellent. You get a lot for your money and every time I'm in the area, I go and buy food. The workers are very pleasant, funny, and respectful. Try it for yourself.Vegetarian options: The food is visible so you can see it and select what you want. The hot food is prepared daily and there's variety to pick for salads.
