My go-to take out spot. Always good, always ready quickly. Highly recommend!

The sweet potato roll stands out as a standout favorite for me, offering a culinary experience that is both memorable and deeply satisfying. Each component of the roll, from the delicate sweetness of the sweet potato to the savory richness of the nori and the perfectly cooked rice, harmonizes seamlessly to create a truly exquisite dish. The interplay of flavors and textures is nothing short of masterful, with each bite delivering a symphony of tastes that dance on the palate. On the other hand, while the yellowtail jalapeño roll was enjoyable, it didn't quite reach the same heights as the sweet potato roll. The combination of yellowtail and jalapeño provided a pleasant kick of heat and freshness, but it lacked the depth and complexity that made the sweet potato roll so remarkable. Overall, while both rolls were tasty, it was the sweet potato roll that truly stole the show with its impeccable balance and bold flavors.

This has to be the worse restaurant in the area. The food is bad, the attention is really really bad.I had the Katsu Udon with Pork.Completely tasteless, dry and not fresh. The waitress asked me if I wanted a cup for my beer and then asked me 2 or 3 times if I was using the sauce, which had no excuse since the place was empty.Besides that, my bill ended up being $23, the waitress took $30 and just kept it for her and started doing other stuff.I’m a very generous tipper btw. It’s my fault to end here, I was about to go to one of the amazing Japanese restaurantes a couple blocks away.I truly hope they get better.

My coworker and I opted to eat inside this place that we frequently would order delivery from on a random work day. We wanted to get out of the office and just have a change of scenery. It's hard finding parking, but we lucked out and got a spot just on the corner! Upon going inside, it's actually much more spacious than other take-out sushi restaurants that you frequently come across. There's tables to fit up to six people, and there's even a waterfall along one of the back walls, which I thought was a nice unique touch. The tables were clean and we were seated right away. Our waitress asked for our drinks, so we got green tea and iced water to start, and eyeballed the lunch menu. They have lots to choose from, but our personal favorite is ordering their bento box sets. I opted to get their shrimp tempura, and I usually substitute the California roll with a spicy kani roll and pay whatever the difference is. The prices are all very reasonable, the plate is filling, and the food comes out looking presentable. This is a decent local place that fits the bill in my book. It's always reliable and service is quick!

Beautiful ambience is a quaint neighborhood in Greenpoint, BK. The food has a comforting flavor that makes each piece melt in your mouth and takes you through an experience with bite. Service was very nice and attending, while also making sure my food came out shortly after my order was placed. I ordered the Sakura roll and spicy tuna roll, and each one tastes like it was made with love and dedication. Amazing spot!

A fine gentleman at Anima Mundi recommended this restaurant and I'm so glad that he did. The sushi rolls were excellent as was the crispy tempura. I was impressed with the quality of the iced green tea. (tea nerd here). I was happy that they had brown rice. Our waitress was very attentive and polite. The atmosphere is nothing special(nice but not essential) but we had a window table so I was quite happy. Despite the fact that I live in Manhattan I can't wait to go back.Vegetarian options: I'm always happy when a japanese restaurant offers brown rice. The vegetables were fresh and tasty.Parking: we found a parking spot 1/3 of a block from the restaurant. meter didn't take credit cards so we fed it quarters.

Eat fish with live fish watching. Nice staff. Free hot Saki. Fun atmosphere. Maybe too much graphic design on the walls but I like this place.
