I HAD TURKEY WING, MAC & CHEESE & COLLARD GREENS. THE TURKEY WINGS WERE UNDER COOKED COLLARD GREENS HAD NO SEASONING AND THE MAC & CHEESE COULDVE BEEN SEASONED AS WELL. OVERALL THE STAFF WAS NICE BUT I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE.

Out of an order of 4 items, the star of the show was the grilled shrimp… The Mac and cheese is okay, nothing to go crazy over as TikTok reviews may make it seem. The sweet potatoes taste more sugary than anything. The fish sandwich needs a signature sauce or something, as it’s relatively dry and lacks flavor. I’m open to trying more of their options tho.

I ordered this food right before they closed off of DoorDash. And I just want to say my cousin and I CLEARED THE PLATE! You hear me CLEARED. We're always saying there's not a lot of restaurants that can really fry some fish we gave it a try and it was SUPERB ! I'm a Georgia peach so that's big coming from me. The collards didn't have to be that good nice and crisp seasoned to perfection *licks fingers* the cabbage was cabbagingggg DEAR GOD. We will be ordering again. I wish I had a picture but I demolished it from just a little tasty taste lmfao. MAD GOOD MAD GOOD 10/10
Woke up this afternoon feeling blue. Food usually helps to ease my dusty mood. I found Sea Island on an app. Lucky me.An order of grilled twin lobster tails in garlic butter sauce, was just lovely. Collard greens were lightly seasoned and filled with tasty bits of turkey meat. Baby ears of corn were nice and sweet.I received a text while waiting that my delivery would be late. When my food arrived, there were extras-extra corn, greens, 2 delicious fountain drinks and they were only running a few minutes behind. I dialed Sea Island up to thank them. A gentleman answered by the name of Prince. Maybe he's the chef? Either way, thank you Prince. Thank you Sea Island!

Disappointed. I ordered two pieces of fried whiting today via Uber Eats and this is what I received. Not only was the presentation bad, but so was the fish. It was dry and rubbery with no flavor at all. Makes me wonder if the fish was fake.

I've been going to this spot since the very first days it opened and the quality has steadily gone down. I'm guessing that due to inflation they probably had to adjust some recipes and whatnot but it's not the same anymore. If I have to wait over 45 minutes for food, I'd like it to have flavor at the very least. I used to faithfully get mac shrimp and bbq jerk chicken wings and in the few years they've been in operation I've seen the recipe to those (formerly) perfect dishes go DOWN. Before the recipe changes you could taste the succulent shrimp juices ALL throughout the CREAMY mac and cheese, now its dried out, the noodles were bland to the max and flavor was severely lacking. The old jerk BBQ had the thickest most luxurious and spicy taste ever and now the sauce is not the same anymore. I truly hope one day this place returns to the original recipes. Til then I will not spend upgraded prices on downgraded food.Thanks.

This is hands down the best seafood and soul food spot in Brooklyn. Food is very well seasoned and they put their heart into it.
