I ate here by myself on a Sunday night. Dining solo can be tricky, especially for relatively young or relatively old (me) women, but I felt completely comfortable throughout. I ordered an artichoke heart appetizer that was delicious, and a main course of linguine with frutti di mare, which was even better. I had meant to take some of both home for later but they were so good I ate all of both dishes, which I regretted later. Too full! Especially since I also had a complimentary lemon sorbet and excellent decaf coffee. Truly the best meal I've had in years! The restaurant is quite spacious, more so because it was less than half full. The decor is comfortable, as are the staff at all levels. Good for a special occasion or, like for me, just a treat for no reason.

Excellent food, excellent service, great ambience. Varied menu. A real mainstay in Park Slope. I highly recommend it.

I’ll make this quick because the only thing which made this place memorable was the fact I’ll remember not to spend money here.I had a taste for lasagna and called around the afternoon to ask if they had any available. The man on the phone was courteous and informed me they did and it would be 20 minutes to pick it up. I picked up my food and started to dig in right in the car, but the food was less than impressive. The lasagna was barely seasoned and the béchamel was odd. I took 4 bites and as much as I wanted to finish it for the sake of not wasting my money I instead pulled into a McDonald’s drive-through.

Group dinner...only 1 of us had been there before. We all enjoyed our different entrees & wine choices, the ambience, music, and service. Cozy, comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Accommodating. Helpful. Knowledgeable.I had one of best dinners out in a very long time...top notch. It was one of the specials of the day ... the scrumptious cheese filled sacchetini in a gorganzola cream sauce, with poached pears & walnuts. Our group shared appetizers of fried zucchini and calamari- fresh & also delicious. Nice variety of desserts but the gelato wirh pear tart was my favorite and provided a perfect ending to my meal. Well worth the trip to Park Slope.

On vacation in NYC, we passed through Brooklyn. The food here is particularly delicious: special mention for the lasagna and the slice of apple pie with cinnamon ice cream. If you want to taste Italian cuisine this restaurant is a must. Thank you for your kindness and your smile!

This was my second time frequenting this establishment and it didn't disappoint. I fell in love on my first visit with the calamari and zucchini fries and had to have them again... amaziiiiiiing!! We had a delicious spread...Wheelchair accessibility: There was a disabled patron with a motorized wheelchair who appeared comfortable dining in, and leaving the establishment.

So far this is the best Italian restaurant I've been to in Park Slope. Their prices are very competitive, the portions aren't outrageously enormous, the flavors are very well balanced. I had the Ceasars salad to start, the bolognese pasta as the main course and topped off with tartufo. All were divine. The staff and owner are very warm and welcoming. What more can I say?

Food is good, staff is nice/friendly, it's got that old school brooklyn italian vibe. Nothing incredibly stand out but I'd definitely go again.

Walked by looking for a place to eat ...WOW is all I can say! The service was fabulous, the food was exceptional! The Gorgonzola purses were delicate and light. Everything tasted like your Italian grandmother cooked it. Best restaurant I have eaten at in a while . A must try !
