A lil pricey compared to what I'm used to. But I def see why. They use quality ingredients and give quality service.
So I’ve been there twice. Most recent was date Night with hubby the food very tasty and the drinks a really good. Me and my hubby both order the Trinidadian Chinese Snapper and Shrimp WITH Mango slaw I had mines with garlic mash .The Appetizer was the Crab cake which was delicious ???The DJ was on point it was an awesome experience thanks Sugar’d for the good eats and tunes

Terrible service! I NEVER got my food and was told that my food was given to someone else at another table. Everyone in my party was almost finish eating when I told them to just cancel my food (since they were now putting in the new order in) and give me wings instead. At this point I was annoyed but I still thought this experience could have been salvageable. When it was time for my sisters birthday cake to come out, (after I called ahead of time about it) I was told that it would be an additional 25$ to cut the cake. My issue is that that is something that could have been discussed ahead of time when I called about the cake. ALSO, you would think that they would be more accommodating since they forgot a WHOLE order of food. I ended up having to go to the kitchen to cut the cake my self. At this point I was so furious that I ended up speaking with the manager, who did nothing. When we were getting ready to leave, I saw that the server was brining out a drink to my sister and her fiancé. I thought it was a complimentary drink for the trouble they caused. IT WAS NOT! This drink was the drink they ordered almost a whole hour ago. We literally was about to pay the bill when the drink came. Like how is that still even on the bill?!!? The service was TERRIBLE! The food (that I was able to try) was awful! WOULD NEVER COME BACK HERE!!!!!!

My husband and I came all the way from South jersey to attend a basketball game and decided to check out sugar'd ! The drinks we had were flavorful and strong , we had the rum punch and sorrel mojito . We wasted no time and went straight to ordering our entrees. Which were jerk chicken, rice & peas , potato salad, bust up shot with curry mango , curry chicken, and a side of macaroni pie . When I received my bust up shot , it was overheated, making it hard . I was very apprehensive about sending it back, but my husband said something to the manager or owner ( not sure of his title), and he took care of it. Overall service was great , food was good , we enjoyed ourselves. Our only complaint would be the music was a bit loud , great selection but a little too high .

I must say this new location is more vibesy than the original one, from the music, the new brunch menu, and even the birthday shout outs. No one does a better shoutout than Akin. Also, his costumer service is impeachable. Will be back again--LOVE IT!

This spot has a dope atmosphere where the tunes never stop. It was fairly empty not too many people were In the establishment so it was a good time to ask questions and see what was going on. They had me hooked with the appetizer the wings!!!! Food overall is give a 4.8 Rasta pasta was decent and the drinks were pretty good. The staff was all extremely friendly and definitely made you feel right at home in Trinidad. Definitely plan on going back soon.Parking: Located on a residential street parking is pretty bad but found parking fairly easy this day

I was extremely excited to finally try this place! My husband and i came here for a date night last night i had the worst dining experience ever! Our server was rude and lacked customer service, he asked us to move our seats to the back of the restaurant because he had large parties coming in, ok no problem. He put us in the corner and completely forgot us! We had appetizers, then eventually our dinner came and still no drinks! Not even water! The waiter never came to ask if everything is okay. His focus was the large parties. Eventually our drinks came but at that point I wanted the check and to leave. The food was mediocre and the drinks tasted bad, I only drank it due to extreme thirst and not sure when the waiter will ever come back. In conclusion 10 thumbs down for this place and i will never return.

The food was very vibrant & refreshing, the service was fast and welcoming for the amount parties they had. Our server recommended the appetizers and glad we listened. The drinks were drinking. *WARNING* please eat before you drink the pomegranate margarita. You will feel it so enjoy the ambiance & the food it's really amazing and we will return.
