Love this bar, you feel like you're on vacation, love the sand in the floor. We had the Peruvian chicken skewers (2 nice size skewers) def worth every cent. This place has a very dark ambiance, which could feel a little claustrophobic but there is outdoor space. The sand on the floor is a cute idea, but messy. Ordered chicken skewers with a fried fish sandwich, the skewers were great. The fried fish was decent, the batter came right off so it defeated the purpose of "fried." The waiter was patient with us and was. Friendly.

I had the crab cakes and shrimp tacos. Loved the crab cakes. It was prepared so well and garnished with shredded coconuts and pineapples. I have never tasted anything like it, but it was served with just the perfect amount of garnished delights that it enhanced the flavor of the crab cake. The shrimp taco was freshly made with jumbo shrimps just surd to perfection. It was served with avocado and cilantro. Superb.A taste of the sea at Surf Bar.Niecy

I went on a Monday 1/22/24 by myself while I was waiting for Apple to fix my phone... I went just to have a drink while I was waiting and I ending having 4. They were so good and the way the restaurant is designed is mad cute. I felt like I was underwater or on the beach. Highly recommended. Azarias was the one taking care of me and he was awesome!!!
My favorite bar in the city. It’s a hidden oasis with sand on the floor and fun drinks (including large sharables). The atmosphere rocks and it can fit larger groups. Perfect way to start or end a night although I do love it for a daytime adventure when it’s warm. The coconut shrimp is great and service is awesome.

A very exotic bar/restaurant :) you eat there with your feet in the sand, extremely good food, very friendly staff. Tested by chance in 2014, we came back with great pleasure in May 2023 and it's still just as good! The prices are more than fair for NY, especially since the dishes are really good quality. For 3 we got for less than $100 including tips

This is such a great bar in Williamsburg ! If you’re into beachy and chill vibes than this place is for you. The service and decor is great and the tacos were delicious; guacamole was also well made. They have cool drinks and would recommend for hanging out with friends.
