Huge variety of sweets and charts.Vegetarian options: Huge selection of vegiterian dishes.Kid-friendliness: Huge verity of kids' favorite dishes.Wheelchair accessibility: Street level entry.
The food is ok, but there are issues. The flavors are occasionally a bit bland and the quality control leaves something to be desired. I found a rather large stone in my chickpeas (only slightly smaller than a chick pea). The service is probably great, but if English is your language then they seem reluctant or annoyed to take your order since it doesn't seem to be the language they're comfortable with.I was hoping for a tasty local spot, but this won't be it.

Mithas is a neighborhood institution, and I am shocked I haven't written about them before. This is an unassuming Pakistani restaurant on the bustling Coney Island Avenue. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the crowds of neighbors waiting on their food. Service is pretty efficient, they don't take long to bring food out. I recently gave their mix grill sizzler a try which is made to order. The kabab tasted very fresh, the tikka was my favorite. Seekh kabab and other pieces of chicken were also good, although overall I found the meat a bit on the dry side. The samosas here are the absolute best in the neighborhood, the shell is crispy and thin, properly fried and the filling is delicious. Sweet sauce and green sauce are very good. Makhani chicken was average, but Im happy the sauce wasn't too runny or too greasy. There's some room for improvement with cleanliness, when it's busy here; I've had to take the spray bottle and wipe down the table top myself, but it's kind of like coming home and helping out... they are also very well known for their mango cream cake/pastry which is very delicious. If you are in the neighborhood stop by for the chai, samosa, chaat, pastries and everything in between.

Staff not nice. They were aloof and didn't understand us. They'd leave when we were talking to them/ordering something/pretending like we weren't saying anything. We talk to another guy who seemed like he didn't want to talk to us. ?? pretty disrespectful tbh. I guess I would have gotten better treatment if I was Pakistani.

Last night, I enjoyed a delightful culinary experience with friends at a fantastic restaurant. The Tandoori Chicken leg and Lamb chops we ordered as appetizers were absolutely amazing. For the main course, we relished a scrumptious 1lb Goat Korma paired with freshly made paratha. It's definitely the ultimate spot for an exceptional dining experience.
Very friendly and tasty food
