Fine Uruguayan cuisine. The best empanadas I've had. A laid-backambiance. Staff friendly and corteous. Prompt service. I have to try the rest of the menu. Highly recommended.

Nice cozy place to go with someone. Lots of classics on the menu. If you’re a fan of Argentinian food you will notice a lot of overlap, although this may be a controversial statement. The Provoleta was really satisfying and the Chivito was as I was expecting.

The quality and taste of the food is really very good, the portions vary according to the price, unfortunately the place only accepts American Express card or cash, a situation that was not told to us from the beginning.

BE CAREFUL, if you come to this restaurant they never tell you that they only receive Cash. And since you have no other option than to pay the bill in some way, you must go out and look for an ATM or "considentially" the same restaurant has an ATM right there that charges you a commission. The bill arrives on a handwritten paper and not an electronic invoice, but they do charge you taxes. The handwritten account? Is this allowed? You can't pay with a card and the bill is handwritten, isn't this strange? It damages the whole experience, plus they don't give you any more solutions, you either go out and look for cash or withdraw money right there in the restaurant. The customers next to my table also commented the same thing about how it was possible that they would never tell me about it. I will not come back.PLACE A VERY LARGE NOTICE AT THE ENTRANCE THAT SAYS "ONLY PAY IN CASH."

Had my birthday here. They were extremely accommodating in setting up a reservation. Service and food were excellent. Rib eye steak was so yummy!

This place is so cozy, serving up authentic food that we rarely see in the city. They have an amazing $20 prixe fixe brunch deal where you get an entree, coffee and 1 drink (mimosa, sangria) for $20, with an up charge for certain items. I had the Churrasco which was delicious. The steak was a bit overcooked but overall I enjoyed my food. The service is a bit slow but overall I definitely recommend for a brunch!

Service was impeccable and the staff were knowledgeable and very friendly. Case in point, I couldn't decide on the recs made for my entree and the bartender let me taste both before deciding on a pairing. The atmosphere is very intimate and cozy. I really love places like this. I took the bartender's rec on the wine for my skirt steak and also tried the beet salad. Both delicious and very filling.

Excellent food & service. Arrived after 9pm on a Friday night to a warmly lit, beautifully decorated restaurant with aromas that made us want to try everything on the menu. We had a party of 7 so we were seated in the backroom- not to be disappointed as it was equally as charming. Our service was perfect with most of the wait staff chipping in. We ordered an amazing Uruguaian red wine (2bottles because it was perfect) and decided on 4 appetizers- Provoleta, Croston con Morcilla, 2 Croston con Morcilla - all were delicious and none lasted long on the table. Our main courses included Churrasco (everyone's fav), Milanesa de Pollo and pasta of the day entries. All 7 of us really enjoyed our meals but all agreed the Churrasco as the best dish.Thank you, Tabare, for making our first night of our NYC visit a very memorable one !

Good place for dinner. Reasonable prices. Sandwich “chivato completo” the best. I loved fries and the homemade mayonnaise. We also order beef empanadas. The only thing a didn’t like and expected is that we ordered “fernet con coca” and they brought us pure fernet in a cup with ice.
