Excellent tacos. ? This is a usual spot for us and it never disappoints here. The large tacos have guacamole in it and it also comes with an entire grilled green onion. Now, I hate onions. But I have no clue why I’m able to eat it here with the tacos… it’s that good. Opt for the large tacos. The regular size is fine but for just a dollar more you get more bang for the buck, literally. Very low key establishment. It isn’t festive. I don’t believe they serve alcohol either. But the tacos are amazing. And amazingly affordable! As always, better to eat fresh and dine in. Order the Tacos… when the restaurant’s name begins with Tacos, you better order the Tacos ?!!! ????

I used to live two blocks from this restaurant and was always amazed at friends who would come visit Sunset Park primarily to eat here. It is mediocre. The regular tacos are fine (tripe is a little better than fine). If you get them jumbo or whatever they come smothered in this avocado slurry that just tastes wet. The salsa is mediocre (the arbol salsa is literally the jarred Herdez version). Got Tampiquena here one time as well and it was hard to eat. They also often have a bunch of specials listed out front but when you try to order them they aren't available.I moved to the neighborhood after the heyday of the cart on 5th so maybe it used to be a lot better before it got an additional storefront.FWIW the smaller pop-up that existed for a couple years before the pandemic on the other side of 4th on 45 St had a different menu and actually better tacos, including good tacos placeros.
Delicious, authentic tacos!! We had the spicy pork, shrimp, fish, birria, and goat tacos. We also got the green chilaquiles which we highly recommend. The birria came with consomme which was PACKED with meat. Everything was delicious. There’s a reason why they’re so popular here! Thank you Tacos el Bronco!

The service was quite good. The atmosphere was nice. The restaurant was clean. But the food was way overpriced and disappointing. My main issue was how the burrito had the beans and rice IN the burrito and not on the plate, on the side. The burrito had only a tiny piece of steak. No vegetables. Just rice, beans and tiny piece of steak. The nachos were extremely expensive for what was received. The guacamole had zero flavor whatsoever.Sorry, I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone. At all.
