Ten Ichi Mart is an absolutely incredible Japanese market and a true neighborhood gem! I love stopping in to get fresh, high quality, and fairly priced ingredients for my favorite Japanese and Korean dishes like okonomiyaki, sukiyaki, kimchi-jjigae, and kimbap. This amazing market always has everything you need to make amazing food! Don’t be deterred by the small size of the store, their selection is truly exceptional. Additionally, the instant noodle options, onigiri & sushi offerings are always tasty and make for a reasonably priced lunch. All staff are friendly and helpful. Truly couldn’t recommend Ten Ichi Mart more!

Impressive ice cream and snack selection. They have melon bars and even melon ice cream which I haven’t seen before. Lots of reasonably priced single ice cream desserts and to go food like sushi and hot entrees.

Love visiting Ten Ichi Mart speciality items such as miso paste, rice vinegar and more. The sushi is pretty decent and the fact that it’s 50% off after 8pm makes it all the better. It’s great store to check out and even browse for new and exciting foods.

I'm sorry to see all the reviews with bad experience as I've been here a bunch of times and never had a bad experience personally. I wish it was as big as the Williamsburg one but that's the only complaint- I love this place. I do wish they wouldn't package ginger / wasabi with the sushi but such a small note, it's overall amazing in my experience!
