The Emerson is such a great laid-back bar/lounge with a great bartender and fun yet not distracting music selection. I've enjoyed two of the cocktails on their menu including the title cocktail. They also have pool tables in the back which is way cool and a patio that I have yet to see for myself but hear nothing but great things about. See you there soon!

Simple. Friendly. Cash only, but there's an ATM. Divey vibes with a pool table. No notes.

Gina, Alev, Kevin … I just can’t even say how many great people work here. Been going here since … hell, 2008. Art happens and if you think you’re good at pool take a number.

Low key bar which I have enjoyed periodically with a changing selection of beers on draft. Nice backyard area too.

Great spot! I appreciate that the bartender acknowledged me as soon as I came in the door, and that he made one of the best old fashions I ever had ($13). The red light mirror thing behind the bar also sets a cool vibe. Great diverse mixed crowd. Good energy peeps in here.

I have never ever felt comfortable here and I’ve expressed that every time :)

The best place. Vibe is good, people are nice and drinks made with olove.

One of the best bar burgers in Brooklyn. Maybe the best, especially considering the price.

Comfy bar to hang and play pool in. Knocking it down a star for no credit card. Didn't go there expecting all the ATM fees, and most of the drinks aren't cheap. Usually no credit spots are much less expensive. Still a good spot if in the area and have cash on hand.

Great neighborhood bar. A quintessential example of Brooklyn life. Locals and travelers a like will enjoy this place. There is plenty of space for chatting with friends or small tables for an intimate date
