Stopped by for brunch and was very impressed! The egg sandwich and chicken and waffles were very good - as was the house made hot sauce. Looking forward to coming back for a burger. Cheers!

They have a backyard which is wonderful for outdoors dining. I chose to come here on a Saturday evening with some friends. There’s about six seats in the backyard and they have about 8 to 10 tables in the restaurant itself. The host set us down immediately, just making sure that table was clean and ready for us. I have to say big props for serving stuff for serving during covid times and as soon as we sat down offered us some insect repellent for the bugs around. They also had hand sanitizer on every table. The space itself is very lovely and laid it feels like you’re in someone’s private backyard and they put up some lights and umbrellas for the heat.On to the food and drinks. we tried the st Lawrence and the garter snake as well as the watermelon supernova and deveraux spritz. I would recommend all of them depending on your tastes, they were well made and mixed.I loved the cornbread - very buttery, and the Mac and cheese - they use pesto! So delish!I also loved the green beans they add in an Asian sauce and it's divine. Would also recommend the brownie dessert very well made. I didn't really think much of my burger, I would probably recommend to get the second patty as well because it is on the smaller side but it is tasty. So overall I would recommend this place for drinks and apps and of course the necessary outdoor seating in the summer :

I had fried chicken (thigh & leg), with a salad. The chicken couldn't be substituted for any other parts, so I was told. It wasn't seasoned AT ALL. I put a little hot sauce on it, but I didn't care for the thick hot sauce. The salad was good, I enjoyed that. My gf had a cheese burger with fries. & she said that was okay. The patty was very thin though. There's so many restaurants in that neighborhood, with really great food. Thank goodness, we have choices, because this isn't the best restaurant in the neighborhood, in my opinion. But in all fairness. I've only been there once, & tried one thing on the menu. So, I'll probably give it another shot. Oh, the cornbread was okay.

Came there on a Saturday evening after a long flight. There were surprisingly few people inside but it was quite loud.Food was good, both burger and wings, though on a more expensive side. The menu is limited, you have to order at the bar. Staff is nice.Good place overall for a dinner.

Stopped by when the bar just opened at 4pm! Was able to get seated with no problem and I sat in the backyard patio. It was really cute and quaint.Ordered a chicken sandwich with fries. I really loved the fries. The chicken sandwich was okay. Loved the Happy pineapple limeade. It was a refreshing mock tail. They also had good margaritas!

Food was great, Bloody Mary with jalapeño tequila was incredible and the staff was so friendly and nice!

Very relaxing spot! Went for dinner and the food was great (chicken sandwich and beyond burger). Bartenders were very nice and friendly. Drinks could have been a little better but everything was reasonably priced.

We loved everything about this place for brunch. Great food, good helpstaff, nice decor. Will try the garden in back when it gets warmer.

popped in last night spur of the moment with 5 other friends. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They were able to set up a table for us towards the back because we did not want to sit up front. The atmosphere is inviting with an open kitchen. The food was good comfort food- would definitely recommend for a no fuss easy casual meal.

We had French toast, egg sandwich, the vegetarian sandwich & cauliflower nuggets. EVERYTHING was 10/10. We will definitely be here as often as possible! Also, the service was 10/10, our waiter was simply amazing!

The food had great flavor and we were seated right away. A lot of menu options for brunch (breakfast + most of dinner). Prices are pretty on par with the neighborhood. We all cleaned our pores practically. The chicken is so moist and the waffles were great. Sweet potato fries left something to be desired.Biggest complaint was the music being so loud. It was very difficult to hear one another due to the musics volume. I was with my older parents, one of whom is hard of hearing, and neither of them could hear very well. That being said, the actual ambiance of the restaurant was pretty solid. And fairly cozy. I would like to return and see if there are improvements to sound, because if so, this place is worth it!

I met a friend here after not being in NYC since 2019. We shared appetizers (jalapeno cornbread and poutine Fries) and I got the Ryerson Burger. I highly recommend getting it as suggested on the menu. Overall our experience was a great one. Service was great, food was great, and drinks were great!

I'm not a yelp person but truly the best people, the best food & the best atmosphere in the neighborhood. The Ryerson has the vibe of going to your best friends place and just having a good time. The music is always great & the chefs kill it in the kitchen. If you're looking for a spot in Brooklyn or Crown Heights - this is the place to checkout.

Best fried chicken I've ever had. Highly recommend the Nashville hot style fried chicken meal. Delicious sides as well!
