We felt like we were transported to a Northwoods Wisconsin supper club. We knew the original Turk’s Inn owners. Thank you for carrying on their legacy.Loved the cheese cloud. Eclectic wine list that was a perfect complement to the cuisine. Char grilled steak and old fashioned fries were great. What we most enjoyed was the unique atmosphere and friendly staff.

Great place, great atmosphere, mostly great food (like lamb shank and eggplant schnitzel - ‘mostly’ great because the bread could’ve been baked a bit better but maybe we got a bad batch), great story, great staff (thank you Alexis and Ashwint).Would’ve been 5 stars if not for the bread - the food was so good we didn’t get time to take pictures and just dug in.

The Turks Inn was another great seredipitous find, being right next door to the Sultan room, where we were going to see a great new duo, The Bygones, perform after dinner. We were looking forward to trying out some Turkish food, given the sameness of much of the restaurant food in our area, and we were not disappointed! It was packed with flavor and truly satisfying.Parking: We were extraordinarily lucky and found a spot on the street a few doors down. Otherwise, the streets were crowded, and I'm not sure how easy parking would have been, as we don't really know the area.

My favorite place for drinks, hands down. It’s like being on a movie set in the best way. The food is also delicious - the cheese curds are a MUST.

For a cute date spot with lots of character and good Turkish/american fusion food, this is the spot. The vibes here are immaculate and just throw you back in time to another generation with its decor and music choice. The food was good for the price point. The highlights would definitely be the appetizer tray, which went well with the provide bread, and the fries with ottaman seasoning had a kick that kept me going for more. The lamb and rainbow trout were also great. The baklava was not too sweet and hit the spot at the end!Friendly stuff, clean bathrooms, and overall great experience!

Finally got to try the food at this place after stopping in for drinks a couple of months ago. First, the Turk's relish tray was delicious! Comprised of hummus, squash dip, muhammara, and olives, and accompanied by toasted bread, this is a flavor smorgasbord. Both my friend and I found it a delicious medley of taste. We also had the house pickles, which were crunch and refreshing. My friend had the shepherd salad, which she said was fantastic. I had the steak frites. The crinkle fries were well-seasoned and crispy, the steak was just okay. Kinda tough, sinewy. I wouldn't order the dish again. The famous cheese curds are at least a one time must try. I'm not big on fried foods, but the curds were rich, tangy, and unique. I had the salty apricot cocktail, with apricot vodka, vermouth, and eau de vie. It was a good cocktail, but I ended up having two of the saffron sour. The saffron sour, made of saffron liqueur, rye, lemon, and black pepper, is complex and spicy and so easy to drink. They have so many cool looking cocktails, made with all sorts of fruits and spices. I would love to try them all. I love the kitschy decor and low, red lighting. It feels like you're dining in a Middle Eastern back alley club or in a genie's bottle. Service has been excellent both times. This time we came in at 10, thinking they closed at midnight, though it turns out they were closing at 11. They didn't rush us or make us feel badly. I apologized profusely because it was an honest mistake and I usually don't enter a place with less than two hours to eat and drink. But they were really accommodating. This is a very short walk from Company XIV. This will always be my post-show go-to!

They forgot the extra sauce which I paid for and the Chicken Donar Pilaf was 90% skin and fat. Not

What a riot this place is! You feel like you are transported to a different time and place. The supper-club vibe needs to make a comeback. The food is good and fun to share on the rotating tray in the middle of the table. We made a very early reservation so we arrived to an empty restaurant but it soon began to fill up. Make sure you read about the history of this place. It's very interesting. Not sure I'd venture back due to its distance from home but I would recommend a visit purely for the experience.

Great spot! I wish there was live music when we were there on a Saturday night, but maybe it was going to happen later on..? Very cool place, great drinks, lots of fun. Not a terribly long wait to get in. Parking is findable nearby, not too bad. They do have a coat check, it was $3/coat.

I'd rate Turk's Inn three and a half stars. We started with the fried cheese curds which were ultra rich and savory. Then for the main course we shared the lamb shank with fries and broccolini. Lamb was succulent and heavily seasoned. I had a pour of Redbreast which was priced at $30. Service was attentive. There were four gender neutral restrooms and one was handicap accessible.

Awesome ambiance. Service is always awesome. They have the most amazing olives and their grilled cabbage is always a hit with guest.

I dined at the restaurant with a group of people and found the set menu very disappointing. Both the chicken and fish lacked quality. Adding to the dissatisfaction, a 25% mandatory gratuity fee, plus an extra 3%. Won't be returning.

Horrible experience last night with our very large birthday group. The way they charge here is INSANELY shady and unfair. %25 service and another %3 on top of that???Food was mediocre at best and even though we were told all the food was included they charged us extra when we asked for additional chicken because people were still hungry.$15 for a Negroni but changing it from Mezcal to Hendrix is another $3 ?Never coming back here again..
