honestly if you aren’t running up tropic what’s up with you because this place is all there is in life. The only deli you will catch me pulling up to in Brooklyn is tropic and that is because of the countless options offered from smoothies to sandwich’s to candy and chip. Don’t even get me started with the workers. The workers and some of the most positive people I’ve met in my life and make my day when ever I walk in. They are all so welcoming and always find a way to deliver. TROPIC #1

The people and the food are fine. I object to their deliberate posting of inaccurate prices for lunch specials. Do NOT believe these photos on the outdoor signage - you do not get a soda with your sandwich. Every item is actually one dollar more than what is posted outside. Your $9.95 sandwich + soda is actually a $10.95 sandwich with an additional $1.25 drink. On 3 occasions they've explained to me "oh we just haven't changed the sign yet". But they did recently update the sign to increase prices - a step in the right direction. But they also then increased the pricing on the menu board INSIDE, so that dollar discrepancy remains. It's not exorbitant, but it is deceitful and deliberate. At the counter they look at me like "You're really going to argue over a dollar and a soda??" JUST BE HONEST!
