The place is trying too hard. You sit on the floor but the area with you put feet aren’t sunken- don’t go if you have a bad back or knee problems. Sushi was eh!

Me and my date went here last week and it was such a great experience!! From the very start until we ended, the staff was lovely and accommodating. Not to mention the fish being amazing. It was a true once in a lifetime culinary experience. In addition, our waitress Vivian was beyond lovely. She made great reccs, was attentive, and so kind. It all was very authentic from the no shoes, sitting on the floor, to the stunning hand crafted food and unique flavor pairings. We had such a great time and am so happy we went!

Quality of the sushi was decent but does not reflect the asking price. Besides the unique presentation of the dish for pictures and pretty interior, I can't think of a good reason to recommend this place given many better options in the city at this price point.

Expensive but nice food. Great experience until you pay the check. After that they cannot wait for you to leave. All the niceties and extreme politeness disappear. They don't even smile at you when they say goodbye. Instead of feeling like a valued customer you just feel used. Such a pity to destroy something that could have been great at last moment.
