Great coffee and home cooked pastries. I have tried macchiato, cortado, and latte. They were all very good. Friendly service. Great location, very light. Window seats are my favorite. I like that they give you a small glass of water with your espresso.

Best cookie I’ve had in NYC yet…. And you know why? It was fresh. I got some great work done here. When I entered a staff member was helping a customer. Very attentive well priced and delicious. I’ll be back!

The service is outstanding, the coffee is Great, and it's a tranquil spot to focus on work. A solid 10/10 coffee shop experience.

Highly overrated for coffee. It may be nice to sit in, though pretty packed, but coffee is very mediocre - bitter and burnt beans, too hot, and cappuccino with plop of thick milk foam on top. Far better options all around in brooklyn.

Milk in the latte was burnt to the point you can’t taste the drink. Baristas were very unpleasant. The place itself and ambiance is very good. That the reason for any stars at all.

Good place to read/work. Had matcha and velvette iced latte. Matcha was similar to Starbucks and the latte was really good.

This place has been a favorite for a long time. The coffee is excellent, the interior is calming and beautiful, they have good pastries (including gluten free) and the guys here are really nice.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free- not a fan of the lack of labels but they’ll gladly tell you all about them!

Velvette Brew in Park Slope is a coffee shop serving light fare and smooth brews. We went for the Velvette, a vanilla brown sugar latte, blueberry loaf and breakfast sausage quiche for breakfast. We think Velvette Brew makes for a great neighborhood coffee shop and wish we had a location in Chelsea

Attentive service and a consistently smooth espresso flavor each time. Their signature "Velvette" drink is delightfully sweet and complex! Don't miss out on this gem....

Truly incredible decaf latte art. Never known any place to do decaf latte art this well.

Okay coffee. Ordered a vanilla cappuccino, too much milk to coffee ratio for a capp - I couldn't rlly taste the espresso much. I'll come back to try their espresso another time, but probably won't be visiting often.
