I was renting an Aitrbnb near this place and was a regular customer throughout those 3 weeks. It was by far the best food I had during that time. Mostly had jerk chicken, which was great. I could not finish a medium portion in one sitting, unless I was absolutely starving. Worth the price - I paid for a mediocre sandwich elsewhere more than for a delicious portion of jerk chicken here. My only complain is that the music was sometimes so loud that I could not hear the person who served me well. Probably wouldn't bother a local as much, but as I foreigner, I had no idea what they could be asking me. So the first time, I accidentally ordered pasta salad. However, it was really good too, so I wasn't upset.

Was recommended to try the food here, so I decided to get large Ribs only for $16, large Jerk Pork only $16, 3 festivals and a chicken soup. The Ribs flavor was good, however it was really dry. The jerk pork also was properly seasoned but was too dry. The dryness from the meat could be from being overcooked or possibly being left in the oven where it is being stored to keep it warm. I went a little before 2pm on a Wednesday with high expectations but the food did not match this expectation.

The curry goat is really tasty, my favorite.. except the fact that they give you mostly bones instead of meat.

First time at this restaurant. Very disappointing. Steam fish had no taste no seasoning what so ever. Rice and peas was dry and hard. Fried plantain was hard and dry. Escovish fish had no taste either. Only thing that was good was the Mac and cheese. Don’t think I would purchase food from here again.

Management refused a refund or a correct response to dry unpleasant food. Trying to reason with the supervisor resulted in a hostile situation. “Customer is not always right” was the response. No need to support an established with such unpleasant views on food service.

They did not miss! Customer service was on point and tried a lot of the menu, everything was great; shout out to the Rasta pasta. Will 100% be back when in New York again!

One of the BEST Jamaican spots in Little Caribbean Brooklyn. I stopped by to experience the smoky j*** chicken and it was delicious - part of the reason is that the meat (chicken and pork) is cooked on the outdoor grill. It is a must try to understand why! The lobster and conch is cooked to order, so you may want to call ahead to avoid waiting too long. I also ordered plantains and a festival - both done well, but be prepared for small servings of both sides. This vibrant place is more like a pick up and go, so don't come here expecting to dine in. The service is normally what you experience at most Caribbean spots - place your order, pay, wait and you're on your way. Nothing epic - you're here for the food! So, if you are in Brooklyn and interested in taking some Jamaican food to go, this is a great spot to try!

I ordered j*** chicken, j*** pork, rice and peas and their version of rasta pasta. Everything was delicious. Jhennell was at the register and took our order. She was very thorough and was extremely polite. They have huge grills outside where they smoke the meat. You can pretty much see the food upon arrival and everything looks very neat and clean. I'll definitely be back.

Food was amazing. I recommend the j*** chicken and pork combo. My only issue was they didn't give me my j*** sauce on the side.

J*** chicken and rice and peas was soooo good fresh off the grill outside.

The food taste like back home when you go out on the road and get box food. Food was seasoned perfectly and contained all the right spices. This is a restaurant you have to get in the establishment early, or the food will run out. Service is on point as I rarely was in the restaurant for more than 10 minutes.

Great tasting food. The food is precooked and in a warmer so when it is served it is a little warm. I got a mix of pork and chicken and it the chicken was very tender and the pork was super tasty. Also the plantains were pre made and tasted good but the texture wasn't there.
