The food was very different. The purity and freshness of the pickled cabbage. I have seen a big old piece of fat that was humorously delicious! It was moist and it was very lean. I tried the had the fried pork shoulder. It was well seasoned. I had to drink it down with a Haitian Beer that was called Prestige. The service was not time consuming. I had to wait for a while but the people around me were just so anxious to eat. It was so good the lady behind me had to get 3 plates for her family also.

Found this place on a whim while walking around Nostrand Ave on Saturday. It's your typical Haitian restaurant that has a soccer game playing with guys sitting inside speaking in creole. Omg it gave me the best vibes and actually make me miss living in New York. I love stuff like this. Anyways, the prices were super cheap and the food was out of the world. I literally ordered a small (walking size)Griot with piklis and it was only $6. That same plate would've been at least $10 anywhere else. It was so fresh and flavorful. I'm glad I stopped.

The most disgusting Haitian food I ever had . Horrible presentation, no sauce, no meat just bones. I spent 23 bucks. You would think that they would try their best to provide a great experience to a stranger. Never will I order there again
Absolutely HORRIBLE. I got "stew chicken" over rice and it was so dry and disgusting. She FILLED 85% the pan up with rice, and put two dried out flavorless pieces of chicken on top. No gravy. No veggies. Nothing. I will never eat here again in my life. The man working there was apologetic when I called but I'm so hungry right now & mad I chose to eat here.
