Most underrated shop in the neighborhood. Def order the braised beef noodles and the peas with mixed sauce, and just as is. You'll save yourself an international flight ticket.

This family ran joint serves the best beef noodle soup and homemade soup dumplings! It’s the perfect spot for a cozy meal, especially during the winter or rain. The noodle soup had a rich, clean broth & the meat was super tender. Some other standout dishes included the shanghai shumai and spicy wontons in chili oil, which I could easily eat multiple portions of. I’ll definitely be back! Delicious noodles. We found the place by chance while walking. It doesn't have tables, just a bar with a view of the street to sit at. We landed at 3:00 p.m., perhaps at peak hours there will be a delay. Spectacular food. We spent 50 dol between 2 people with 2 main dishes, some dumplings and 3 sodas (the food is spicy, delicious, so you drink a lot). If you don't like spicy it's not an option.

Food is great, but there's not a large menu. One "warning":The fried chicken in some of the dishes is fully cooked, but still looks pinkish inside. It's marinated in such a way that the interior is somewhat pink, even after cooking, similar to ham.The fried chicken is tasty but salty by design, so great with rice.Parking: You could probably double park and watch your car from the restaurant - it's not a busy streetKid-friendliness: It's no frills and there's a couple outdoor tables, plus a planter on the sidewalk kids can sit on.Wheelchair accessibility: Can roll in, there's no stairs

Overall rating: 4.5I didn’t realize this was a chain when I visited. Clean area and nice service. Not a place to sit down, but rather to go. I had the Szechuan braised beef and it is SPICY. I wasn’t prepared how spicy. On the first day, the broth just tasted like hot water. It was missing the flavor or fullness of broth. But on the second day, I added some soy and a few other Asian spices & it got so much better. Surprisingly day 2 was better than day 1. I could come back to try another, less spicy dish, if I’m in the area.Definitely more a lunch to-go spot, than anything else. Recommend giving it a try.

It's been a while since I've been here but I remember I was introduced to this place from a Yelp event. I remember a warm and welcoming space. Great for a lone lunch, an intimate casual dinner or a table with friends. I remember being obsessed with the marinaded eggplant. Like...bruh...I went home trying to recreate it with the leftover marinade juices from the to-go container! Save meee! Ha! I remember the noodle soup had a rich beefy broth and the noodles were very filling. It was a bit of an adventure to get there but worth the trek! Check em out! An unassuming noodle shop in Fort Greene contains a small interior, but plenty of flavor. All of the food is Sichuan cuisine, and I really enjoyed everything I ordered here. The braised beef noodle soup is the perfect dish to order on a cold winter day, and pair it up with some soup dumplings or wontons in chili oil. It is a great lunch or dinner, whichever you choose. As stated, there is really nowhere to sit, except maybe 10 stools with a bar facing the wall. This is the kind of food you eat in, I do not feel this is something you order take out. I am sure it still tastes good, but it may not be the same. A four star review well deserved of this rating. When I was in San Francisco, I had a dish very similar to this, and feel the noodle dish here is on par with that. Tingly, fresh, and generous.

Delicious soups my favorite is the Chicken Soup 24 hours of pure fabulousness. Reminds me of my Mom's chicken soup. The delivery is always hot and fresh! Great service

This is the worst meal I have had in a very long time. I usually don't bother to leave bad reviews because I have worked in the service industry, and I know this can affect a business's rating, but I'm honestly APPALLED at the quality of this meal. I ordered the marinated beef bowl, pork & chive dumplings and chicken appetizer. The chicken was 100% undercooked. I took a bite into the first nugget, and it was cold and pink. The dumplings were tough but edible and slightly flavorful. The bowl, however, was the most horrendous thing I've ever encountered. The "beef" seems like low low low quality meat. Very stringy, fatty, and chewy. For a moment, I thought I'd mistakenly order chitlins or tripe because of how rubbery it was. I've had authentic chinese cuisine many times before, and i am an adventurous eater, so it's not that I'm unfamiliar with this style cuisine. This is just low quality and poorly executed food. I was excited to have this style food in the neighborhood and pumped to give it a try. I was sorely disappointed.I'm upset because I wanted to treat myself to a nice meal, and I feel like I fully wasted my money. Literally, no part of this meal was worth the money spent. I've had better food on the street in flushing. I will not be returning and would honestly like a refund. If you do choose to patronize this restaurant, please just steer clear of the items I ordered, and maybe you'll be fine. I literally attempted to pan fry the meat to salvage some part of this meal, and the meat wouldn't even brown or firm up in any way. I seriously don't understand what's going on here.To be clear, I gave the service and atmosphere an average of 3 stars because I ordered delivery and didn't interact with the staff or go in the store. They are all probably fine, kind people, and my review is only about the food.

Keepin it real out here in Clinton Hill / Fort GreeneNot our first time to Zhong Zhong but our first time in this Brooklyn location. Always a treat to find a solid Chinese spot in an area without too much Asian food, and better yet, the food and service was solid. The food definitely hit the spot for a rainy December day. We got a few noodles and sides, idk how they do it or cause im Chinese American, but every dish just tasted so right! A little out of the way for us but will definitely stop by again whenever we're in the area

We came here for a promotion but also paid for additional food and the review is for both! We had a lovely meal on a rainy Sunday evening. I loved the food- especially the tomato hot pot, which I found really unique and perfect for a tomato lover like myself. The spicy beef noodles conveyed the spiciness without burning my mouth and stomach and the beef was tender and had the perfect amount of tendon. The spicy wonton was delicious but I would take a pass on the soup dumplings next time (skin too thick and meat too sweet for my preference). The shop is super small, but there were about 8 seats inside the shop and about 6 seats outside. The staff is polite but not overly friendly. Zhongzhong turned out to be much more inconvenient for me to get to than I imagined which was a bummer since that might limit my future trips and I won't be making a trip specifically to eat here but it's starred on my map for when I'm in the area!

Great food and fast service. The spicy wontons are to die for - definitely worth trying.
