I'm obsessed with food!! I love coming to whole foods because I think they have the best seafood and meat selection. Recently I did a delivery from my Amazon app to my door which was the best experience ever because I don't have to go to the store I just do my shopping through the app and they deliver it in front of my door no charge you have the option of giving the driver a tip but it's not an obligation. Personally I always tip no matter what!! The best thing I always buy from Whole Foods is there a shrimp but the frozen ones not the defrosted one that they have displayed. I also love their cod fillets there are frozen! Oh and if you have a dog I always get their bone from Whole Foods which my dog dies for every time!! But definitely if you haven't use their delivery service which is completely FREE I would totally recommend it especially during this time!!

Second review for this place. I'm loving it more and more.Still doing my shopping via Amazon Prime. Free delivery. No distance limitations. I don't live ANYWHERE near here and my food get delivered withing two hours of purchase.A recent and very enjoyable discovery yesterday - they sell Icelandic butter. The only store in this area to do so. SMJOR - with the umlaut over the O. Best butter that I've ever had. I hate to say this, it surpasses Kerrygold in taste and texture.I won't go into my shopping list however everything was/is wonderful! They have crumpets, they have anything I can think of. They also market Blue Eyed Baker macarons. That's another review.

I can't say enough good things about this store. The produce is reasonably priced (equivalent to and sometimes cheaper than nearby stores) and always very fresh. I really appreciate their efforts to offer locally sourced and seasonal produce. Likewise, their meat, seafood, cheese, and bakery offerings are wonderful! Although some things can be a touch on the expensive side (mainly dry goods and prepared foods), it only requires one to be price conscious. Most of these such items go on sale regularly. In addition to the great products and the well-organized store, the staff truly makes the entire shopping experience lovely. Check the weekly sales and don't be afraid to ask staff for suggestions!

Oh how l love this market. My wallet doesn't love it as much as I do.... but I seem to ignore it. I was there this week during this difficult time and found them to be incredibly busy. Their staff was shopping for on line orders. All of the orders were very well organized up front in refrigerators. And the checkout staff was doing an amazing job keeping the belts spotless between shoppers. They sprayed the entire belt and the whole area including credit card pads with disinfectant. Having said that, though I do miss the hot food bar and salad bar, I did find everything I usually love packaged in the refrigerator sections. The meatless meatballs which when added to their cheese pizza and a few slices of a fresh avocado from the produce section , is amazing. I also discovered chicken pot pie soup which was a huge hit with the husband. And the huge soft pretzels are individually wrapped now. If you grab a tub of the pub cheese from the cheese section fridge and warm it up in the microwave for a bit, while toasting the pretzel in the toaster oven , open a beer of your choosing from that amazing selection they have.... all your worries will go away for awhile. Even the prices.

Whole Foods has what I need, plenty of it, and in myriad flavors, sizes, shapes, and textures. I eat vegan, and the only thing I miss is greek yogurt. Whole Foods started carrying Kite Hill greek yogurt in the 5.3oz. Now they carry the 16oz container! No other stores carry this. Thank you Whole Foods!

I enjoy occasionally stopping at Whole Foods to see what's on sale and what's new. The cheese department has a large selection and they will give you samples if you ask. They have a really nice selection of fresh baked breads and pastries. I always pick up a loaf of bread when I go there. I have not tried their cafe yet but from looking at their food and craft beer selection, I'll be trying it out soon. An added bonus is that if you have Amazon Prime, just scan the code from the Amazon app and you get a discount. If you have never been to Whole Foods, you should check it out.

I like Whole Foods for their hot bar, deli, and bakery selections. Their hot bar is priced pretty similarly to other stores, but the selection is far more extensive, and the quality seems better. Since Whole Foods opened until now, I haven't noticed any significant change. I do hope this will continue, both for the hot bar and the deli. Regarding the bakery, when Whole Foods first opened, the bakery selection was very extensive, and the price was lower than that of other grocery stores. Pretty quickly, however, the selections got somewhat reduced and the prices went up a few times. Now, the prices are no different than other grocery stores, the quality of the cakes have gone down a bit, and the selections have become a bit limited a boring. I used to go at least once a week for a treat from Whole Foods bakery. Now I stop by once a month because it no longer feels so special. I wish the quality and selection would go back to the way they were when they first opened, if not the price point. When Whole Foods first opened, I tried a few times to shop at the rest of their departments, but their prices were too high for me, and the selections for the most part too limited. However, I did notice that the quality of some of the products - like the meat for example - was better than most stores. That said, Whole Foods does offer some items that cannot be found in other stores. This is the only store that sells some of my skincare products. It is also the only store in the area that I have managed to find that sells cooking grade lavender. Regarding the staff, while everyone I have interacted with so far are friendly, I tend to be hesitant seeking for help from the staff. The ones that I can find have tried to be helpful, but they also tend to be very busy trying to help multiple customers at once - sometimes even while doing restocking, so I end up having to wait for a long time for an answer (I'm talking over 30 minutes of standing around waiting for someone to get back to me). The only time this isn't happening is if, say, I'm visiting the Beauty department, and I see an attendant already there restocking a shelf, and I need to ask them a question about the Beauty department. Even going to customer service desk doesn't help, since customer service would grab someone else who is more knowledgeable in the department I need help in, then the associate they grabbed would be busy trying to help me while running around trying to do at least three other things at once. I don't think this is the fault of the employees, as this didn't happen early on in this particular Whole Foods' time. I have also visited other Whole Foods stores before, and I didn't see any problem with shortage in staffing in those stores. I'm not writing this review about Whole Foods with the intention for it to be shut down. There are plenty of good things about Whole Foods that I like. I'm writing this review with the hope that Whole Foods management will see it as an opportunity to improve, and others will see potential in Whole Foods and give it a chance.

I was at the Whole Foods Market three times this past week. Monday was my most extensive time spent there by far. I spent a good deal just shopping on Monday. Browsing price checking and getting the whole layout in mind. It was supposed to be Italian week and there were a few sales on "Italian" products leading up to Saturday when they crack open a wheel of parmesan cheese. I was under the impression that there would be various samples throughout unfortunately I was unable to locate them. I didn't arrive that early so maybe that's why I didn't see them. When I first walked into the store there is a juicer promoting grapefruit juice but didn't see anyone near it and nothing but a waste basket with empty plastic sample cups. I didn't inquire further and subsequent trips looked like it's changed to OJ. No samples though. So I perused the various products and noticed a lot of very good items however I wasn't impressed by the prices. It could be because I shop at different store's with a lower quality but definitely lower price points. I returned a few more times throughout the week and didn't find many samples on display but if you asked at the various counters they would oblige with a sample. I didn't partake at the prepared foods kiosks which did have a plethora of good looking, healthy and diverse ethnic foods. The price was eight dollars a pound. I finally was fortunate to receive my samples on Saturday of parmesan cheese which was six dollars cheaper a pound. They also had samples of a orechette pasta in a parmesan cream sauce that was just delicious. To my surprise I found the 1818 Bar and grill near the exit door that turned out to be the deal that I was looking for. They had a menu of 13 craft beers local and some not along with a big menu of salads, appetizers, sandwiches and the like. The happy hour special is $10 for any 2 that could be two drafts or wine or pub fare i tried the chicken wings 12 count and a beer for ten bucks was well worth it. The wings had three sauces available traditional buffalo, soy ginger scallion and honey mustard. I preferred the traditional but the others were good as well. There were various fried foods dips to try on the happy hour menu. Gives me a reason to return just for the wings and a libation.

Whole Foods Market is a delight! Really nice produce, competitively priced - especially the extra savings with your amazon prime membership. The department is immaculate and helpers available should you need direction. There was a ton of selection in the bagged and boxed greens and salad area. We enjoyed the fresh ground nut butter last visit and returned for more. Fresh squeezed orange juice this time. Yum! The dairy aisle has many choices of organic, glass bottled milk and as big a variety of schmilk (non-dairy calling itself milk) like coconut and almond "milk". Yogurt heaven is here, the biggest and best selection I've seen anywhere and priced right. Olive oil, chocolate, organic staples abound. Lots of baking items that are on the pricey side. If you enjoy shopping in a music-free environment and in a friendly store this is it. Just know your prices beforehand and choose accordingly.

What's up with Whole Foods? My second visit in two weeks and I got the same negative staff vibe. Now the butcher and fishmonger were fine tonight but when I asked a passing staff for help, she ignored me. Thinking she didn't hear me, I went after her, saying "excuse me? Excuse me?" and she gave the most laborious huff. Perhaps her neck tattoos were new and she was itchy and irritated and in a rush to go to the bathroom? I asked her for cooking sherry and I got major eye roll. "I have no idea" (another loud huff) "I'll ask someone." And she disappeared. When I ran into her at another aisle, I asked her if she had any luck finding someone about the cooking sherry. She pointed to another staff member. Unfortunately Whole Foods doesn't carry cooking sherry, just the salt heavy cooking wine. It's really a shame in our highly competitive market where Whole Foods has to compete with Wegmans, Trader Joe's, Aldi's, Dash, Tops that one of the differentiators is customer service. I am very disappointed that my last couple of visits to whole foods I have been so negative. It's as if their staff don't like to deal with people. Whole foods can't compete on price. But like Trader Joe's they have their own unique product set. What they really need to do is to up their game with customer service. That includes the cashier system where you're supposed to figure out where to scan your bar code (the display doesn't have any arrows). The friendly cashier told me there's free delivery for Prime members for orders over $35. (Has anyone ever gotten out of a whole foods for less than $35?). But when I asked him how that worked, he shrugged and said to look "somewhere on the amazon web site." I swear it's as if they're trying to shoot themselves in the foot.

My wife and I had our very first visit to your Buffalo location yesterday evening Friday Nov. 22 there on Sheridan Drive. We purchased a few items and were quite pleased by the prices. We also purchased some items made at the store. 2 cupcakes (a raspberry one and a carrot cake) OMG, they were amazing!! Not too sweet, perfectly moist and left us wanting another. I mentioned to my wife that there were similar cake versions. So we look forward to purchasing one or two, lol, on our 2nd visit. We also purchased 2 muffins. Mine a cranberry orange and my wife a banana one. Those unfortunately were total opposite the cupcakes. My cranberry was dry and lacking in flavor. Thank goodness for the cranberries to give it what flavor I could enjoy. I only ate 1/4 of it and tossed the rest. My wife said hers was dry and pretty much the same. She described hers as blah tasting and tossed hers with only a few piece pulled off of it. Very disappointed! We weren't sure if it was because they sat there all day. It was at 5:00 pm we went in there. So overall we were glad to of had our 1st visit. We thought we would let you know how our experience was the 1st time. Ohh and as for customer service. Outstanding! Everyone was pleasant and gave us a smile. Myself needed a motorized shopping cart. We used the self checkout because the 3 registers that were open had long lines and we had all about 8 items. The young girl at the self checkout wad super helpful with us and our small order. Kudos to her. I wish I would of gotten her name. But she was an oriental young girl. Very happy to see someone who enjoys there job like she was. But overall Whole Foods was alright. I don't see myself going there to grocery shop for the family. They don't carry many of the brand's we like. Plus prices were a bit on the high side. We saw a pint of Ice Cream for $9.99!! Crazy! What is made of, milk from the Gods??

Called earlier to see where they get their garlic and they said New Jersey so I went there and got a couple extra things. The young black man at the register with long dreadlocks was sassing me when I put down the green bag with two cloves of garlic in he says" I know what it is you don't have to be rude and tell me what's in it" I said just move it along so I can get out of here then he gave me some more lip and then ask me if I want a bag and I said of course I want a bag he says "well you seem like you know it all maybe you wanted to carry it" I told the 2 girls at desk and they said "We're sorry". I'm done going there, He ought to be reprimanded! The last thing you want is a rude sassy cashier.

Awesome bakery ! They carry cake cakes and cakes that you cannot find in any other bakery. It is kind of pricey for regular grocery shopping but for sure no other bakery can compete with their high quality product . We buy flower , cakes and fresh meat from them regularly and I highly recommend it to others

Great selection. Insane prices. Why is it so expensive to eat healthy in America? Because whole foods takes advantage of the health minded consumer. So with that in mind, and if you dont mind shelling out almost, if not more then double the cost for items this place is great. They offer a discount if you have Amazon Prime. Ironically a lot of the items in store can be purchased on Amazon for a LOT less cost. Go figure. It's a shame it's so expensive to eat organic and clean, but if cost isn't an issue then this place is great. Lots of dairy free options and vegan choices here, but bring your checkbook.
