We hadn't been to this restaurant in 20 years. Now that we live closer I knew we had to go. The restaurant is very nice aesthetically. The service was truly amazing. The coffee was refilled very often which made us coffee drinkers in the party very happy. We all had breakfast. Two of us had the sausage gravy and biscuits which is one of the most delicious ones that I have had in the area. We will definitely be back

I don’t get the high ratings. Ordered a chicken souvlaki for takeout and was told cash only. ATM fee of $3. Okay, not happy but I understand the fees restaurants incur when processing cc transactions all day. However this place seems to do a lot of business and their prices are somewhat high, so can’t entirely give them a break. Especially when the salad is clearly “bagged.” Had all the noticeable traits of one. That weird color, red cabbage, carrots and NO romaine. Come on, I know a low-priced bagged iceberg salad when I see one. Chicken was cooked perfectly, but you cheap out on the lettuce?? The thing that pushed me over the edge was the takeout fee. So it wasn’t bad enough to refuse cc’s thereby forcing me to eat an atm fee, but then charge an ADDL fee to take food out of your restaurant?? Bagged salad, a very STALE pita for over $20…. No thanks. Gtfoh. Will never be back. If you’re looking for a great chicken souvlaki go to Kostas inN Buffalo. This place is a joke.

I went for a fish fry yesterday and it was so delicious. I actually had the baked fish for the first time. It melted in my mouth. It come with three sides. I did have to take half of the portion home with one of my sides because it was so filling. Let me tell you that It was worth the price.

I feel like something fishy is going on when it's 2024 and a restaurant doesn't take cards. Even vending machines can take cards nowadays. Food was ok, but they got my takeout order wrong.
A must visit when in Buffalo. Excellent food and service at this staple diner restaurant. The battered fish fry is light, flaky, clean and delicious...absolute perfection and you get 3 sides. It's CASH ONLY, so be prepared.Kid-friendliness: Lots of options for kids.

The first time there went in by myself. I was greeted and sat quickly on a Sunday afternoon. The host grabbed me a coffee while seating me. The server told me she'd be with me shortly, and she was but never mentioned her name. I got a chicken souvlaki wrap that was huge for the price but had more feta cheese than chicken. Fries were crispy and hot but very bland (edible). The server checked on me halfway through the wrap and filled my coffee at that time but didn't see her much more than that. I waited a while for another cup of coffee that I never received before asking for the check when I did finally see her. They did have flavored creamer but only I only had 2 French Vanilla at my table.

Good diner fare. Totally typical diner ambiance. Booths and counters. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Huge menu. Breakfast items - eggs, pancakes, and biscuits were all solid. Hash browns were good as well. Dessert items looked good but we were full. Recommend! Lots of locals. Easy parking.
