Great food with wonderful service. The server's recommendations were spot on, and the bartender whipped up some great specialty drinks. We came with a group of 10 and were able to make use of their private room. Highly recommend.

Server was very kind and attentive. Unfortunately for 32$ the Cauliflower truffle risotto did not meet expectations. Minimal flavor with large chunks of walnuts that overpowered the texture and flavor of the dish.

The food was absolutely delicious. We really enjoyed our dinner at Bacchus. It really doesn’t get any better as far as top-notch restaurants go.

A decent wine bar and restaurant in the downtown area. It has a fair amount of seating inside along with a small bar. Service was friendly and reasonably fast. I went with a Caesar salad, which had an odd addition of potato "croutons". For my meal I had the mushroom flatbread, which also had a nice mix of prosciutto with the mushrooms. It was a little heavy in the oil and reggiano though. Not a bad meal but nothing especially memorable either.

My friend and I were seated immediately upon arriving. Our waiter came over, introduced himself, and asked us if we were attending the show at Sheas. We were. I ordered a Manhattan and my friend a gin martini. Both were excellent. For an appetizer we had the small plate of scallops. Cooked to perfection and delicious. The bread brought to the table was yummy as well. We both had the pecan crusted salmon. To die for as were the diced sweet potatoes and spinach it came with. We enjoyed a bottle of Standing Stone dry Riesling with dinner. One of our Finger Lakes favorites, and it paired wonderfully with the salmon dinners. Dessert? Why of course. The tiramisu, which was also fantastic. Overall, a great dinner in a great restaurant we have been to a number of times and will certainly go back to again. A gem in the Theater District.

OUR SERVER WAS AMAZING. FIRST CLASS SERVICE FROM EVERYONE. NEAR THE END OF THE MEAL, I DROPPED MY KNIFE ON THE FLOOR AND THE YOUNG LADY WHO SEATED US CAME RUNNING TO GIVE ME ANOTHER KNIFE. VERY IMPRESSIVE. THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT AND WAS EXTREMELY CONVENIENT AND CLOSE TO OUR HOTEL!!! THANK YOU AGAIN FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!

A favorite place. Had a nice dinner last night and everyone raved on their food. I had the ahi tuna and it was fantastic... along with a nice Spanish red. Our server was wonderful. Just the right amount of attention and super pleasant and charming. Absolutely recommend.

The space is too big and loud to be comfortable. It is difficult to escape the television. This is inexcusable for a restaurant that wants to be elegant. There used to be curtains between bar and dining area, which cut down on the noise. I enjoyed my food, but one of my guests complained about the lamb dish. All in all it did not match the memory I had from earlier visits.

Seated promptly , bartender was very friendly and welcoming. Wait staff was first class and engaging. Valet parking is extremely convenient. Food quality and timing of our meals was excellent from appetizers to dessert. A bit pricey but a night out of fine dining isn't an inexpensive endeavor. We will be back !

Bacchus was a WONDERFUL experience! The ambiance is beautiful and the food tastes amazing. We had the pan seared scallops that were glistening and so tasty. For our meals, I had the night's special shrimp crusted haddock with herb risotto and asparagus. The fish was cooked to perfection with just the right crunch. I paired it with a Riesling. My husband had the Dijon crusted lamb. It was his first time having lamb is definitely did not disappoint. Overall, the best restaurant meal I've had in ages! 10 out of 10! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Thank you Bacchus for having us.

The food was excellent. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their meal as well as the shared small plates. The wine selection is great, and we had desserts and French press coffee at the end, too. Our waitress was excellent.

This is a great restaurant. The food is made from scratch so it takes as long as you think it would for freshly cooked food to be made and brought to your table. Plan to spend around d $250 for 2 people.

Currently scoping out places to hold an exhibition for my final semester attending buffalo state. Owner/chef Michael Mietus and event coordinator Catherine Cravotta are a tremendous duo within Bacchus. To whoever has the privilege of speaking with them, will see right away how charming and friendly they are. Their presence exudes a feeling you've known each other for years.
