Bought my husband a $50 giftcard but when we tried to apply it to a $130 bill we were told it could be applied to an ONLINE order only. It doesnt say this ANYWHERE on gift certificate. In fact says right on it “hand to cashier or server” Total scam. Now we are stuck with a giftcard we will probably never go back to use. Rude and unprofessional. With so many options for take out this place is forgettable to say the least.

a staple for this neighborhood. on Fridays It's always very busy. I Place an order and went to pick it up. Of course I had to wait. That was very typical but since I didn't order anything big, just some sides. I thought that perhaps it should be ready. I was told that it wasn't ready but that they knew who I was and that They would alert me as soon as it was ready. I asked several times and was given the same answer after about a half an hour. A worker finally looked at some of the bags that were sitting on the table low and behold one of them was mine. My order was ready the whole time but nobody ever took the time to look because they were so busy. They were flustered and instead of just looking and handling things, they decided to mitigate the situation by lying probably isn't the best policy. Maybe they can do better in the future. it'll be a while before I go there again maybe never.

Straight up nasty even the dessert! I usually don’t leave reviews but I expected more for the price I paid. 60 dollars right in the the trash. We got two catfish dinners with Mac and cheese and collard greens last weekend when i visited buffalo. The fish wasn’t fresh and you could tell because how soggy it was and it smelled bad not a regular fish smell. Collard greens were sweet personally I don’t prefer sugar in mine. Key lime pie was super overpowering with sourness there was no balance. I ate as much as I could because I was starving at that point and didn’t want to drive all the way back, but never again.

Called order over phone. Ask for something not available. Ok changed my order. Given price. Get there the daughter in law or whomever has a terrible attitude. They offered a refund I said no. She snatched my food. I snatched it back to upset to check order get home all wrong. I hv been doing business with these people for over 30 yrs. Just terrible.

I'm going to be trying a lot more dishes. I got the sautéed jumbo shrimp with greens and Mac and Cheese. It comes on rice but I added the beans and rice. It was a delicious meal. Two meals. I on-lined the order and drove over from the Zoo area. It was ready! I gave the cashier $5 as a prayer of gratitude.
