First time here and I will be back. The food came out so fast, fresh and delicious. Great servers and service. I had the chicken parm and I didn't leave any on my plate lol. Upscale but not over the top upscale.

The food here was so good that I came back for a second time even though I was staying in the downtown area only for a weekend. Just about anything we ordered was good but would strongly recommend their lasagna and lobster pasta.

I enjoyed my lunch at Bella Ciao. My waitress and another server who was possibly the manager were very friendly. The portions are very large, and I didn't expect the salad to be an entree size. My strawberry mule and the burrata salad were delicious. The bread with olive oil and vinegar they serve as an appetizer is very good. The tiramisu wasn't the best and I couldn't really taste any coffee flavor in it. If I lived in Buffalo I would try this restaurant again.

When I ordered my food I expected it to be great because of the photos and review's, but once I got my food I realized I was all wrong, when I ORDERED MY FOOD BECAUSE I WAS ON A BUDGET I couldn’t pay for it, try to guess why? Well to bad I will tell you it costed 200$ like what a scam and they forgot a plate like the audacity. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN????

Wow, Bella Ciao! I'm so impressed with this fine dining Italian restaurant! They're located right in the heart of the city of Buffalo! The food was spectacular! We started off with their roman artichokes and burrata salad. I highly recommend ordering the artichokes grilled vs. breaded. The flavor is divine! Their house made pasta is also a step above! We had the lobster mafalde and the eggplant. Both were amazing! They also offer penne gluten-free options, which is rare to find in many restaurants. I really enjoyed their cocktails, especially the limoncello lemondrop! Our server Dage was excellent. She offered some great menu suggestions, which were much appreciated. This restaurant is upscale and modern. They have a huge bar and comfortable seating. I also found them being priced very reasonably. Bella Ciao is a wonderful place for a special occasion, romantic dinner, or business meeting. It's also great for travelers since it services the Embassy Suites Hotel in the same building.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free pasta options are available.

Beautiful restaurant and excellent service by fairly attentive staff but small details need improving. The food was fantastic, if not a bit creamy for italian, but the pasta was done by a master. The perfect balance of chewy and soft. Beautiful meal and a memorable experience overall - would repeat.

Bella Ciao is a perfectly appointed Italian restaurant in downtown Buffalo. For my first time here, I ordered the Lobster pasta and chopped salad. The pasta was rich and creamy and the salad was fresh. My server Tori was attentive and helped me select my entree. (Thanks Tori!) The manager Marc came by the table and was knowledgeable and engaged. I felt I was amongst old friends. Drinks were outstanding. Will definitely return!

Awesome cocktails, cool ambiance, great service, but the food was far from decent. The chicken came out of a Walmart freezer bag and the vodka sauce, wasn’t a vodka sauce at all. We were both extremely disappointed in the food. It’s a nice cocktail bar though.

For my 63rd birthday I told my daughter I'd like to go for Italian. She drove me to Bella Ciao and I had a memorable lemoncello lemondrop martini. The lasagna was great, enough for leftovers, and the server and manager went out of their way to make my birthday special. Would love to return.

Amazing food! Very attentive staff. Came for a birthday. Julie was fantastic and the manager was very funny. Definitely try the stuffed peppers and lasagna. Really beautiful space with stunning views of Downtown Buffalo. If we lived closer it would be our new regular spot! Coffee could be a bit better.

A group of us, three, went for dinner before a show at Shea’s. Our reservation was for 5:45 and the show started at 8pm. We had plenty of time to enjoy dinner and apps without feeling rushed. We started the dinner off with the Italian onion soup, Chianti braised rib soup, and a Caesar salad. Overall, the service and food were fantastic. One of our dishes did not come out with the others and arrived 5-10 mins after the rest of the entrees. The server and manager were incredibly apologetic and offered to get the person with the missing meal something else in the meantime. As stated above, we had apps and were not in a rush at all so we pleasantly declined. All of the meals, chicken alfredo, vodka pasta, and shrimp linguine were delicious. Without any request on our part, management took the missing entree off the bill, which wasn’t necessary since it wasn’t that long of a wait, but it was an incredibly nice gesture. We are already discussing when to go back and try other appetizers and entrees. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Went for a date night with hubby,if you are looking for a quiet romantic Date night I probably wouldn't come back,First off place is beautiful, our waitress was so friendly and nice as was the manager I believe he was, cons, first the bar became packed with ppl wearing baseball hats ,sweatpants extremely loud and drunk to the point a customer was so drunk she fell into the hallway and bathroom, then spilled over through the dining area, felt I was more at a downtown bar with a bunch of very loud drunks definitely night the date night dinner outing we were looking for.Now food , chooped salad is amazing!!!meatballs lacking flavor also the red sauce very blah, wish I could say we'd go back amd try again but iam not looking for a loud drunk crowd night club feel at 5pm almost forgot con, parking is horrible and to use the restroom you have to go into the hotel.
