Our order - Brothers fried chicken sandwich, seafood platter and our 2 kids got a kids grilled cheese meal each.Everything was well cooked (kids both commented on their sandwich not being overcooked like most places), perfect size portions, and flavored.We noticed "parties of 4+ may be charged 18% gratuity ) on the menu, other local places this usually 6+ or 8+. The 18% was added to our bill.

We are visiting Buffalo for the weekend, and found Brother's via a Google search. If you are looking for a great place for amazing breakfast, look no further! Very spacious, extremely clean location. The server was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We ordered the Waffle breakfast, pancakes, and the two-egg breakfast. Everything came out steaming hot, and cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend!

This was my second time dinning at this establishment, I must say each time was satisfying! Quick prompt service. The entrees that we ordered was good, it could have been a little bit more seasoning added in which I had the curry chicken and rice dinner. The atmosphere was nice but a little drafty being downtown. Other than that I’ll be back to support again

Decided to order from them today … fried chicken was okay not like before that’s forsure ! When they were on hertel the chicken used to be season very well love the extra salty to it but this chicken was plain .. like if they didn’t even season it n just breaded it n fried it …. Im a fried chicken lover n normally u guys would hit the spot but today the chicken was bland.

I was excited to try Brothers, but the excitement faded when we walked in and the greeter ask if it was for 2 and walked us to a table. The greeter/waiter asked if we needed a moment to view the menu or did we already know what we wanted. I told her we needed a minute to view the menu. While reviewing the menu she brought us water and asked if we were ready to order. We were ready and ordered Lemon Pepper Wings for the appetizer, and then the Cajun Salmon Pasta and Oxtails, Mac & Cheese, and Green Beans for our entrees.The waiter never told us her name, and never asked if we wanted anything else to drink. (Sigh)We did not fuss. We figure the waiter may be having a bad day or did not want to be there. Maybe she was called into work on an off day. Who knows??As we waited, I checked out the disappointing decor, gashes, and scraps on the wall. There were even grey puddie wholes in their white poorly painted walls. (Sigh)They played music at a decent level, but the kichen conversation was disappointing. They were a bit loud. Louder than the music, and their use of profanity would of offended and table with younger children. Luckily there was only 2 other tables and no little ones there.About 20/25 minutes later we got our appetizer, the Lemon Pepper Wings and they weren't bad.By the time we got to our second wing of 10, the entrees came out but were walked past us by another waiter and taken to the wrong table. The gentleman called the waiter back and let her know that wasn't their order. She apologized and brought the untouch entrees to our table. She apologized again and stated she was just trying to help our waiter. (Sigh)Again we didnt fuss. We accepted the mix up for what it was. But when we got to unwrapping our utensils (a fork and knife) one us only had a knife. The waiter was taking a while to return so we had to find her to get a fork.As we started eating our waiter came out and checked on us a couple times. We were ok, so we thought. (Sigh) Our entrees were lacking taste. The noodles to the Cajun Pasta were "almost done." The Oxtails were missing seasonings, and the gravy was "almost black." The mac and cheese and green beans were JUST OK, and it also came with a mini bright yellow cornbread muffin that actually tasted better than everything else but the wings. (Sigh)We got to-go trays, packed our food, paid, and left.Sorry not going back. I expect better from us.

Food is 10/10 every time! Really goodie portions and service is pretty quick. The drinks are amazing as well! The atmosphere had really good tunes but it is a little chilly inside and the lighting is very dim. But ig highly recommend and it’s almost never crowded so there never a wait!

The food is so damn good, it should be illegal. I ordered the fish fry (Corn meal breaded catfish) with Collards, Mac and Cheese and Cole Slaw. It was some of the absolute best soul food that I had- Ever. It is a damn shame that I don't reside in Buffalo. It gives me a sense of pride to see Black businesses doing their thing, making fantastic food, showcasing their talents, and putting their city on. It makes me grateful to be part of the experience.My only concern is the bartender/waitress. Very easy on the eyes, but the service was lacking. She was very friendly and got me taken care of, but it seems that Brother's could hire a second waitress/waiter.
