First time there was for Doubleshot. Great band, nice big venue, with plenty to offer. Discovered when I got there, that the food is not good. People around me all said I shoulda ate before I got there. I'm appalled that a multimillion dollar place, in a city noted for great food doesn't have such.

Came to see Free Throw and Hot Mulligan in concert, was a very cool venue for the show!

I am so impressed with this venue. It's massive! It didn't get overwhelmingly hot like some smaller venues (granted, I was not in the pit). They have plenty of food options. Security was plenty. Would definitely return.

Decent venue but the parking for shows is cash only and no warning about this for people traveling from out of town, especially from Canada.Join the 20th century and let us pay with card like literally everywhere else in the world and we can bump the rating.

Easter brunch was terrible. Cold food and awkward seating a large area with weird music playing for Easter brunch. Listed seafood and pasta station which was not there what do ever. Terrible management. Over priced. If your looking for a good place in Buffalo I highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

Great venue, just don’t expect much out of the management. General manager has no grace at all.

Personally, this place is hit or miss in every category. Sometimes the food, service, and drinks are great, others not so much. We recently visited for Easter brunch, and I was a bit taken back by them charging 20% gratuity. While I understand they should get paid, especially on a holiday, $25 for someone to bring you a drink and pick up 5 plates is not appropriate. If it weren't for the atmosphere and location we definitely wouldn't frequent nearly as much as we do.Vegetarian options: Very limited

Went for the Easter brunch and I'm not sure if it was the time i went but the food was cold, and the waiter took long bringing our drinks. My son did not find any hidden eggs, and even though we did tell the waiter (cause he told us to let him know, that he can make sure he doesn't leave without getting some) he didn't do anything about it. Not a good experience for the price.

Great venue for events. Festivals and music of the like. Parking is a hassel and they charge. When it's busy the bartenders get overwhelmed quickly.Parking: They charge for parking, even events where you already paid alot to be there. They direct the parking and it takes forever.

We had a great time! The service and food were exceptional! The ax instructors took the time to explain the details to us making our experience a lot of fun! The bartender was the best! Very attentive and personal!

My fiancé and I were stuck in our parking spot due to some poor parking practices by other patrons. I called up Riverworks and spoke with Stephanie (may be spelling that wrong) and she was so kind, professional and saw to it that she’d see what she could do. Within minutes folks came out to move their vehicles and free us. Thank you, Stephanie, you’re the best!

Buffalo River works event "chocolate, wine and whiskey". The organizers created an over-crowed poorly run event. I have been to similar events and they were great. Each vendor had one person only giving samples making it very long lines. The samples were less than an ounce of beverage. I was there 2.5 hours before I saw any chocolate samples. The venue had a water station table with no water. The event was well attended , expensive $65 each and $5 parking too. I would have preferred to spend my time and $ at a fine dining establishment for that price. Total Scam! Shame on event organizers! Never again for me!
