Overall a great meal, but definitely not worth the 200 dollars we spent. The service was amazing I will give them that. Dan did a great job of explaining the dishes and recommending items. Everyone was very attentive and I liked that the cleared the table after every course. What I didn’t like was the small portions. You have to order quite a few items to ensure you won’t leave hungry. We ordered 7. (For two of us)We didn’t drink alcohol, but I ordered a mocktail which was 14 dollars for basically seltzer and flavor. That was very overpriced. All of the food was a bit overpriced for what you get. Very good flavors overall, except my fish and cauliflower were only lukewarm and my husband’s steak was not hot either. We had a good experience but left still wanting more to eat, and we aren’t the Olive Garden type lol. The least they could have done was serve complimentary bread with the meal, but you have to order that as well. Very good focaccia bread I must say, though. The 200 dollars did include a 20 percent tip which was deserved as the service was great. Had we ordered alcoholic beverages our bill could have easily been 250-300 dollars.

Great Italian food! My wife and I almost literally licked our plates clean. All dishes come shareable too so I recommend ordering a bit of this and that. Dishes are a la carte but doesn’t feel like you’re getting cheated at all. Well worth the money. Bonus points for automatic gratuity to pay their staff fairly and help you avoid doing math after a satisfying meal.

Absolutely amazing experience. The staff was so friendly, kind, and honest. Our server was Tom and he was wonderful! The entire meal was delicious and was possibly one of the best meals we have ever had! We will 110% be back. Thank you to the lovely staff at Ditondo!

Food was great but not worth $$200. Portions are extremely small and no sides. For this price I would rather be at San Marco, Sinatra’s, Hutch’s or Lombardos. Great food but WAY over priced for what you get.

This was a long awaited outing and did not disappoint. We loved the upscale and understated decor.. but the reason you are at this place is a love for the best of Italian food. We enjoyed Parmesan puffs and the polpo salad as our antipasto, we could not believe the delicate flavor of the purple potato gnocchi . Our table also had a wonderful piece of lasagna and found the branzino and swordfish both tops for freshness and flavor. One of the owners came out to discuss the wine list and revel in the love of Italian food and wine with us. We had dessert and at our waiter's suggestion, some intriguing digestiv liqueurs. This was an epic meal..and during it we planned a trip to Italy!

Went with 2 friends and we ordered tapas style. Everything was fantastic from the cocktails, to the apps, to the entrees. The wait staff is kind as you botch all the pronunciations as well! Highly recommend for a unique and quality night out.

Excellent service, ambiance and food. Not your “red sauce” Italian restaurant. More of a selective menu using farm fresh ingredients to create tasty dishes.

Buffalo Eats

A historic building/restaurant that has been rebranded by new ownership who have cut their teeth in New York City fine dining, they have some of the best pasta in all of Buffalo. Great views of the open kitchen during service and they even have a small pantry featuring some of their favorite producers. Awesome stuff, do yourself a favor and order several courses of pasta for dinner.

Never been here before, but I walk past every day to get the bus, so Google thinks I've been inside. I can only judge this book by it's cover, and it certainly looks nice from the outside. If you find yourself by the police garage on Seneca St, I highly recommend looking in the windows of this fine establishment. Should you venture in, please share your experience.

Wonderful food, beautiful restaurant, great service. The Italian chef Fabio is just amazing and the wife Rita is adorable and so knowledgeable. We loved to have dinner there with friends. Every single plate was awesome. The Capesante crudo and the Pesce Spada were outstanding! I regret to haven't taken pictures.Bravi Rita e Fabio!
