This market is really nice in a sweet old house (old) in Elmwood village. I love Gazpacho and the wonderful thing about it is that everyone has their own version. Here is is peppery and chock full of fresh crunchy veggies. It was served with bread and roll for dipping. I got a side of pasta salad with fresh mozzarella and tomatoes; nice balance of fresh and dried herbs and garlic and the pasta was a perfect Al Dante. It was served in acute vintage bowl. I saw other amazing looking dishes of sandwiches and salads coming out to the very pleasant outdoor seating area. Very casual cozy feel. Had a challenge with the bathroom door; they need a handy person to fix and it could be cleaner.

I ordered a BLT, and everything looked great until I realized that the bacon was literally raw, uncooked bacon that seemed like it had been placed directly on the sandwich from the package. The bacon on the Turkey sandwich was the same. Absolutely revolting. Really sad because it seemed like it would’ve been delicious had the bacon been cooked. You can’t just serve people raw meat!! I would not recommend eating here unless you want to make yourself miserably ill.Also, their tomato soup is very popular and I don’t understand why. It tastes so sweet that it’s like a dessert.

I've lived on the west side of Buffalo for 15 years and have gone to globe market many times. I just walked in there and have recently had to adhere to a more restrictive diet. I asked if something was vegan and the owner laughed in my face. I worked at Betty's for over 6 years and in the service industry for 10 plus years. There are lots of places who provide a vegan tomato basil soup and I have a keen eye for adhering to dietary restrictions. Looks like I'm headed to the coop! Indefinitely!

The BEST tomato basil soup I have ever enjoyed in 63 years alive! I am telling you, I would buy this to take home to Florida if I could figure out a way to travel safely with it on a plane! I believe the chef uses either fennel or anise in the recipe but I don't want to know because I want to go back again and again when we are in Elmwood for this amazing soup! I enjoyed the half sandwich/soup combination for lunch and was not disappointed with the brie and green apple sandwich pressed on their homemade multigrain bread! I am a new fan! Great service and comfortable seating inside with A/C for a hot Buffalo summer day. Cute seating outside also for when it's nicer out. The staff seems to really like their jobs. And I will return again and again.

I went in to pick up an order while door dashing, there is an older man who work’s occasionally but his attitude is beyond distasteful. The way he speaks to people of color or with a hint of brown shows what era his mind still lives in. He’s not welcoming and should be put on the grill or dishes. The first person you meet in a facility leaves a huge impression.
The food is good. The place is way too cluttered, dirty, dusty. Don’t sit at the tables near the kitchen, u will get a peak of how gross it is back there. Does the health inspector ever go there? U feel the need to shower when u leave there. It’s too bad

I was told the food is amazing here. My co-workers were ordering so I did as well. Much to my disappointment the food was not special or even good. I had a chicken quesadilla with one little strip of chicken. I know it was only 10.00 but it was 10.00. I won't bother to order again.
