Had some wine and guest had a cocktail. It was late and we were told it was closing time. Really not there long enough to take it all in. Was a private party on the second floor unable to see that area. Bar area is small . Lots of cozy seating. Would recommend to start or end the evening there.

I had friends from out of town visiting and wanted to go somewhere with a more intimate vibe where we can actually have a conversation. We were in the Red Room, and I was happy to see a larger party was just leaving, so I figured it would quiet down, which it did. However as tables filled back up throughout the evening one by one, the noise did creep up to a loud enough level where I was straining to hear what the person next to me was saying.The service was good in the sense that we were seated quickly, server was friendly, happy to answer questions, etc. Since I was unable to drink alcohol I really appreciated that attentiveness in refilling our waters constantly too. However, the service speed for the actual cocktails (our party ordered a whiskey, a beer, and one fancy cocktail) took an eternity. It didn't detract from my experience, but it was a noticeably longer wait for a round of drinks than anywhere I've been recently.I would come back, but I would just secretly hope the speed/timing issues are improved—I would probably try to come here on an off night for that reason.

Loved the Lorelei cocktail; came in to try it out after seeing it marketed on your Instagram business page.Jonah put it in for me and Josh made it behind the bar. It’s cool how it glows up in the glass. Claire, Jonah and Josh are very kind to me and I also love the artistry of the restaurant. The red and blue room and bar shelf set up.Thanks guys.

Very fancy-looking place, but the only other thing that conveys that upscale vibe is the bill at the end. If you want mixed up orders, 30-minute waits for overpriced drinks, and unprofessional wait staff, check out this “cocktail bar”. Otherwise, save your money.

Nice place, but the waitress spilled her drink on me and just said “oops”. Never handed me a towel/ napkin. I also asked for water, but she kept taking the water pitcher away from the table and not returning it. Also had to deal w 30 min wait times for drinks.

Honestly very surprised I'm not seeing mostly 4+ star reviews. I've been here over 5 times now and here are some things that I know to be true from each of those experiences:1. The staff and servers have always been amazing, timely and friendly! I've never had to wait too long for drinks/food and they are always smiling when they check on the table.2. The patio space is beautifullll, along with the coffee shop out back. 3. The cocktails and food are in fact pricey, however, they are also delicious. This might not be a spot I hit up every weekend buttt I think it's great for a special date or a treat. Also, knowing Elmwood Village, perhaps they could have had a cheaper menu if their business was in another neighborhood but then we'd lose the ease of bar hopping around Elmwood which I'm sure was a motivating factor for them.The ambiance is unlike any other place in Buffalo and I, for one, would like to see a ton of more speak-easy style bars and restaurants around here!The velvet couches and the small luxury touches really leave an impression, I think they could probably try to do a bit more of that on the back patio but the patio itself is gorgeous, a bit of a different vibe than the inside though!

After being seated, we waited over 20 minutes and no one ever approached the table to say hello or offer water. After overhearing the server make strange excuses for the wait at the next table, we just left. For the price point and the atmosphere, they need to work on the service. Comes off as pretentious.

nicos juice was great. every bartender had great chest hair, except for that fellow that resembled freddy mercury. all in all service was amazing very charismatic. could use MORE chest hair and gold chains but we had a great time. thank you nico we love you
