Phenomenal! I had heard amazing things about Hutch's for years and finally made it in for a surprise birthday dinner from my friends. Each and every one of us absolutely loved and raved over our meals and drinks. Some of the freshest oysters and a delicious meatball to start our night, with espresso martini's and wine. I had the pork chop special with pear chutney and WOW, the biggest and moist cut of pork I've had with an amazing flavor profile. I had the fruit cookie for dessert and it was absolutely divine. Our server, Amanda, was so friendly and helpful, suggesting apps, working with my friend to find the perfect red wine for her, and even humoring my other friend to pick a meal and surprise her- and she picked well! Good service makes all the difference and we can't say enough about her and the atmosphere here. I have friends who routinely come to Hutch's and all I can say is I've been influenced and hope to return much more frequently! Thanks for an amazing dinner experience to celebrate my 30th!

My best meals have been at Hutch’s. Their service is unmatched. We enjoy the quiet and not so quiet (we love to hear laughter) atmosphere.

If you want a special evening with absolutely delicious food Hutch 's is the place to go to!Parking: There's a pretty large free parking lot behind the building. You access it from the narrow driveway next to the restaurant.

While pricey the food was delicious. The appetizers were amazing and the steak was cooked exactly as I ordered it. Medium with a sear to seal in the flavor. Sorry I had already eaten the fries and green beans by the time I remembered to take a picture.Parking: Make sure you are paying attention when parking in the back, getting in was very narrow.

Hutch's in Buffalo was absolutely terrible. I would never recommend. Food was absolutely awful & undercooked. So overpriced for such awful service even with a reservation!

Went on Saturday 3/2/24, not going to lie. It was arguably, one of the most disappointing service I have ever had in Buffalo. Service was slow, hostess, waitress, and manager were extremely short and clearly irritated. I had a reservation for 5:30 PM, showed up and it was not busy at all. However, it took me 30 minutes to get a bottle of wine and a cocktail. I ordered an appetizer, two main entrées, and a dessert. I would say maybe one item of the entire order was cooked I desired. Steak, lamb, chicken, all below standard. when we confronted the waiting staff about the quality of food we received, we were met with snide remarks and dirty looks.. and even slower service. After receiving around $350 worth of food, we got $20 off for our troubles and further snide remarks and slow service. Not sure if this was an off night or if this is the expectation for Buffalo restaurants moving forward, but I would say this is not worth the money or trouble at all. Lamb chops were ordered medium well.. not a bbq expert but this is far from such.

Went here for my birthday dinner on a coworker's recommendation. The space is very nice, the space between the tables are a little tight though. The place filled up quick on a Thursday night so definitely make a reservation ahead of time! Our server was very nice, attentive and informative about the specials for the night. We actually ended up going with his recommendations for the appetizers. The drinks and the food were all delicious and I would definitely order everything again! The portions were all really big. My one critique would be that the shishito peppers needed more salt or it needed to be salted a bit more evenly. My husband was getting full but I convinced him to split a dessert and he was glad he did. The sticky toffee pudding with the vanilla gelato was a great way to end our dinner.

Expensive ($85 / person, but with a cocktail) but so very worth it. Try the steak tare tare and Tenderloin au poivre. My wife had the jambalaya pasta, and we shared because both dishes were PERFECT. Her cocktail was the Eastside and I went Old Fashioned.

Very cool spot in Buffalo that I have visited several times now. Great back bar with old school brick ambience. Delicious menu that mixes classics with some Buffalo culture and wonderful staff. I took a group there but going back and sitting at the back bar enjoying a cocktail and having the meatballs.

My fiancé & I have been to Hutch's several times, but last night we had such a great experience! We sat at the back bar and shared the sesame crusted tuna appetizer, which was cooked perfectly, the calamari, and the steak frites. The steak was so good, I honestly don't know why we get any other entrees there. Our wine was good and very reasonably priced, and the bartender was very attentive despite being fairly busy all night. All around great experience and environment for a Friday night!

Outstanding restaurant in Buffalo for special occasions. We started with Thai calamari which was delicious. I had Filet Au Poivre, medium rare cooked to perfection and my wife had none in tenderloin. Everything was excellent. Must dine restaurant in Buffalo.

To start, I waited 45 minutes for a table to open the whole time waiting. Then, after we seated, the waitress was working the bar at the same time and forgot about us. The steak was undercooked and a poor cut of meat and the vegetables were cold. Then, ignored after not ordering drinks. The waitress also never asked how the food was.
